    I agree she deserved to be fired. I worked for a company that made it clear as an employee, we represent them on and off the clock. And I had to sign a form stating I understood that. How can someone say because it was her personal fb page she shouldn't have been fired?! Like you said sis, she cannot possibly do her job to the best of her ability after airing out her feelings about black people! The fact that people don't or won't see the issue with that is scary smh

      +Vibrant Hues, The way you think is scary. Its not about it being her personal fb page. She obviously could have written something worth firing her over, but her personal opinion on blm does not fall in that category. I guarantee that woman would have never done anything to harm a patient. But on the other hand, blm is convinced that the end justifies the means. And are capable of all kinds of harm to others. I agree with her opinion.

    • @conservativetruth1621
      @conservativetruth1621 8 лет назад

      +Ameree Valdez, I said guarantee because unlike you I understand who she truly is by her statement. I also understand and have seen for quite some time now, that someone who tells the truth she did is going to get persecuted for it. I am incapable of harming anyone if not in self defense and I completely agree with her statement. It could have easily been me that happened to. Not only do I know she wouldn't harm a black person there is a good chance she's been more careful and mindful of blacks than whites. That is the reason so many whites are pissd off. You are obviously on the emotional rollercoaster the rest of these tantrum throwing babies are on. THE BLM MOVEMENT IS A PIECE OF $#!+ !!!

    • @conservativetruth1621
      @conservativetruth1621 8 лет назад

      +Ameree Valdez, You are making a100 assumptions and in the process misrepresenting this woman and myself. I am in no way racist and that's a simple fact. Instead of some people, black and white etc.. bettering themselves and getting their minds out of the gutter, they want to change the perspective of what bettering yourself would be. A bunch of psychologically unstable people that are irresponsible and have no intentions of being PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY, defending their mindsets and way of life. People voicing their opinions is at a rise but people that can take part in the GROWTH of this country are at a fast decline. Maybe you can get your head out of the $#!+ for just a moment to understand the other view.

    Just because your black, doesn't mean your a "trouble maker" all lives matter, but think of black lives! I'm white, but I actually understand why people are protesting. You can't just have police officers gunning down innocent African Americans because if you haven't noticed, this is ALL around the world. The police need to stop, and not JUST the police either. But tbh what that woman posted was horrible. And she deserves to be fired. Just because she's "privileged" doesn't mean she can go around on social media being racist. The police are half of the fucking problem too! Why support people who kill other people, then blame a whole race?? smh -_-...

      I wish the only emotional rants were positive. LAWS, and decisions need to be equal no matter how you feel in your heart. Example If I had twins 16 years old 1 boy 1 girl Both going out. In my heart I would want my daughter home earlier than my son, but they would never know that because I know logically that is wrong. The same logic needs to be applied to race, gender, religion what ever. We are all Humans. We can't always think of all the people in the same way , but We dam sure can always treat all the people in the same way. LOVE 2 ALL.

      Well we only need look at the doctors during WW2 who were serving in the Nazi party and did untold horrors to people.Eugenics is still being practised in this day and age throughout the world. Here in the UK they fail to feed our elderly or withdraw medication so they die. Some professionals have come forward to state this publicly and there have been investigations but then it all goes quiet again, this done mainly to the elderly who have no family.

    Well I'm damn glad to hear this dame lost her job. Can you imagine being a black person injured or sick in the hospital. She asked for it and she got just what she deserved. I'm an older white man and I grew up in the Jim Crow racist south and never could understand racism even when a child. Kudos to you young lady your words are full of wisdom. This social media has turned into a very scary medium. It has not connected people but rather has given them the forum to vent with like minded fools. The fact they try to walk back what they say is just like people in prison suddenly becoming Christians and filled with love for humanity. The people who commit all this carnage aren't really interested in representing their particular race, but rather are people filled with anxiety about their own personal situation and behave like violent fools.

      nichelle mayo Thank you Nichelle. I grew up a poor white kid on a tobacco farm and most of the people I grew up with were black people whose only difference from us was that they were sharecroppers whereas we owned our farm such as it was and not subject to the endemic racism the so called "gentlemen farmers" exhibited who owned their land.
      We all worked cooperatively with each other, poor whites like us, those blacks who worked with a zeal equal to ours, and as well native Americans who were Lumbees and thought to be descendants of Indians and the disappeared colonist from the legendary "Lost Colony". And you can be sure many whites with greater financial resources had as much contempt for us as they did black people, but we were white and they knew we wouldn't tolerate the treatment they thought they could dole out to black people and the Indians because they were damn scared of us and my daddy would have knocked them on their ass. There were eight kids in my family and I'm proud to say we were all gracious and kind to our black contemporaries abiding by the "Golden Rule".
      Sadly however I must say many black people were so conditioned to be beholden to those people that when we took a lunch break and my mother had prepared food the black people would insist on sitting on the porch and eating there thinking to come into our humble home might would be construed as an insult.
      And you can be certain being a southern boy my parents taught me some manners and I addressed all grownup black people as ma'am and sir. I could see through those racist whites because they were as transparent as glass with their condescending demeanor.
      And this was in North Carolina which was long considered one of the most moderate of southern states. Thank goodness we had governors like Kerr Scott, and Terry Sanford who led our state during the civil rights era who saw the utter stupidity of segregation and endeavored to end it. And yet despite the Brown vs. Bd. of Ed. SCOTUS decision in 1954 I never attended high school with black kids until my senior year in high school in 1968. Thankfully we never had any racial animus however and I'm grateful for that.
      We're all Americans after all whose ancestors originated on other shores the difference being the black people had no choice in the matter having been ripped from their native continent to be sold into human bondage which is a sin our nation hasn't yet come to terms with. Had that been the case I'm sure many of these racists would realize President Obama will go down in the pantheon of the few great presidents we've ever had. Thank god he's such a cool customer. I only hope once he's out of office he writes a scathing book and reveals just what a bunch of sons of bitches he's had to deal with while in office. And despite their obstruction he's still managed to be a first rate Chief Executive.
      As a side note I might add when he made his last appearance in North Carolina in the 2008 campaign in Fayetteville where Fort Bragg is located my niece who was a prominent member of military families who supported him and was the speaker who introduced him to the gathered crowd. It was a proud moment for her father my brother and me as well, and they have lots of photos of them posing with each other that day. Sorry for the rambling, just chalk it up to the fact I'm an old cat whose illness doesn't allow him to get out much. Have a wonderful day young lady.

      +nichelle mayo people are so quick to make this into a race war. She is allowed to be white and be proud as much as I can be black and proud. But as stated, I too was brought up with the golden rule, and the violent mentality behind what was so carelessly posted was what should not be tolerated as professionals.

Co-workers and potential clients are also on social media as well...and will turn your ass in or report you to HR. She got what she deserved. Bad press can ruin a biz...they don't want us taking our insurance and copays to another hospital....So they did the right thing and got rid of a bad Apple.

    I think the two situations are somewhat different. The black woman wasn't in the position of being responsible for the lives of people. The white nurse, who clearly hates black people, (even though I'm sure some of her best friends are 'black'. ;) ) is in a position of trust, now after seeing her post I as a Black woman would not want her to be in a position to care for my well-being. There ia already evidence that blacks are discriminated against when it comes to health care by Doctors, nurses, etc., so I agree with her losing her job.

      yes there is a bias within the people who also work within the judicial system so I hope they start looking into all the people in various fields of work bc this isn't the first time someone online said they don't like to treat people of color well at the hospital. it's scary.

    • @MusicallyFly
      @MusicallyFly 8 лет назад +9

      +K Cee it's not just about power. both women said bad things. What if a white woman said Zimmerman was a hero, we'd all be upset. the Dallas shooter is not a martyr; he tarnished what was a peaceful protest. I think Lovelyti2002 was pointing out the hypocrisy of only getting angry at white people for saying stupid stuff, when there are black people saying the stupid things as well. any speech that doesn't support the BLM movement should be condemned regardless of who says it, and regardless of the position in our society.

      Youre really telling me you think their punishment was because she was white and theres no way it wouldve happened if she were black?
      I'm just asking, because I personally know of a few instances where it was the opposite way around and the same protocol was carried out. Depends on who you know and what you read I guess. It may not seem "fair", but it happens. You are your brand, and when a company hires you, you become a part of their brand. If they believe a person is tarnishing their brand, its only fair that they have that right to let them go.
      You agree with her, Im not here to take that from you, but the same could be said about many other groups of people in so many forms. Please do not be fooled by what the media chooses to publicize and not publicize. Its not a coincidence that they put these "one side versus the other" stories out there. They want everyone to be against one another in a "black and white" world (as if those are the only shades of existence)...

      KellEastCoast Like I have said, I don’t condone this woman’s outburst, it was harsh, however; me being unbiased didn’t feel that she was being a racists but rather speaking out of frustration. A warning instead of a termination would’ve been suffice. I know you can’t always believe what you hear on the news but there have been way too many one sided stories favoring black people vs white people. I never hear any news when a white person complains about a black person but I hear plenty of black people complaining about the white people and blaming them for the stupidest things and always calling it a racial act. And because of this one sided favoritism towards the black race, people can’t speak their minds freely without being called a racists, that is what pisses me off the most!!!

    • @helenhines2712
      @helenhines2712 8 лет назад +3

      This woman wasn't speaking about all black people it wasn't in general, she was referring to the trouble makers only the ones who cause problems and I'm sure she feels the same for all races who cause unneccessary havoc and not just black people. So stop your hatred towards someone who is white speaking her mind against touble makers and not all black people in general. This isn't a racists act because I'll be the first person to take them down if it was. All this is is just speaking out of frustration towards certain small group of people nothing more.

      *How about NO ONE should have lost her job over voicing an unpopular opinion...*
      You don't have to agree with, or *like* the ignorant opinions of others...but you SHOULD tolerate their right to voice it!
      I don't like YOUR opinion, but I'm not about to try to ruin your life over it.

      Threatening someone's livelihood for saying something you don't agree with, IS LITERALLY coercing them into silence, under threat of force. When we start policing people's language and political views, it becomes a slippery slope toward an Orwellian dystopia, 1984 style :/

      Your opinion is accepted but kind of ridiculous , certain people are in positions that not only affect business profit but can cause social harm with their words . Though people mistakenly believe they can say what they wish the right to freedom of speech is and always has been limited . This woman not only demonstrated pure social ignorance but shined a negative spotlight on her place of employment in a manor violating the The Practical Nurse's Pledge.
      The pledge clearly states "I pledge myself to do all in my power to raise the standards and
      the prestige of practical nursing. " . Her rant was completely and totally antithetical to this line , combine this with posting it publicly and it's more than enough of a bases for her to be fired.

    Knowledge is knowing what to say, Wisdom is knowing when to say it.
    People should stop labeling others by race, and just call them what they are; killers are killers, troublemakers are troublemakers, mass murderers are mass murderers regardless of race, color, or social background. If you look at it like that the guy on the Orlando shooting and this guy on the black life's matter are the same, men that where frustrated with their own conceptions in life and had no control of themselves wanting to enforce what they believed, no matter what it took.

So if you're in any way offending to their clients, your ass has to go. If she worked at an Arian hospital she could say that shit. I think we all know what we say online can be used to affect our employment. You're welcome to find her online and ask her to tend to your medical needs too, knock yourself out. We are all told during hospital orientation that FB posts can endanger our jobs. They say that negative social media posts can make the hospital look bad, and to be very careful about what you post. I'm sure she was warned like the rest of the hospital employees. This is why I NEVER post anything public on my FB about politics, religion, etc. You never know who may see your posts and how they will react. And it is common practice for Human Resources to Google you and check out your FB before they offer you a job. Besides, we nurses are supposed to care about EVERYONE. Racist comments are disgusting no matter who they they are directed towards.

      Dean, you're taking this thing way off topic. We are talking about Police shooting unarmed black men and it brings the divide that takes us off what this elections should be about. Distractions, distractions, distractions! The problem here is being poor, regardless whether you're white or black. All the issues being swept under the rug are diversionary tactics to Americans asking for fair pay for work done. Poverty knows no color and in poor white neighborhood, as well as black neighborhood, they are paid very little because the jobs they used to do have been shipped to China. Poverty is the problem here and no I don't want to be paid for work I didn't do, however I'll like to be paid market-value for my services since what you make in China are not sold in China but in the US. How do you expect us to afford those things? The "they" you're talking about, are actually kowtowing to what disgruntled Americans want to hear. The 1960s will never come back because the one-percenters are making too much money to relocate their businesses to the US and make less profit. If one made $1.3 Billions in 2015, they were not among the top 100 billionaires in the country, so do you thing these people that could not make the 100 list and will do anything to be part of it, are willing to bring their business back to States to fall further behind the 100 list? They care less about you as you're a number and not a person to them.

      Ever gate crushed a breast cancer awareness event and said "but all forms of cancer kill so why aren't you including all of them in your agenda?"?

      I dont get some people, they say stuff that does not have a point just because they can. Of course all lives matter. But the black community's suffering is the one we must create awareness for NOW. So please explain your point?

      Have you educated yourself with the situation? Nobody said all lives don't matter? But in this case police are targeting and killing black people for no reason so we need to tell & show the police that BLACK LIVES MATTER✊🏾

      yes, all lives do matter. we don't have to emphasis that your life matters because you don't see a white person being killed on a continuous basis at the hands of those who are supposed to protect and serve.

      She has her freedom of speech intact. She can and did say anything she wanted. But what happened? Someone didnt like what she said and the CONSEQUENCE of that freedom (which must people seem to forget about) got her fired. Stop screaming about freedoms, its a tired bullshit cop out. she F'd Up, she got fired. Why not knock on her door and tell her her you feel her Constitutional right was violated.....If she invited you in, I dont think you should accept. As long as you are in her house BEFORE she shoots you, she can claim whatever she wants to prove she was right to say as she did. ROFL Think first, comment later. Thank you Kirk for that giggle.

    it did not seem racist to me telling a black woman she is wrong to black lifes matter and to hell with all others why dont they matter when they do it to themselves?

    • @MsLACherrygirl
      @MsLACherrygirl 8 лет назад +1

      police should be held to a higher standard! who said they don't care that they do it to themselves?! ever hear of Cease Fire in Chicago?! probably not or the black leaders who constantly engage the community to end black on black crime. BTW white on white crime is worse!! educate yourself.

      +robert carey She's the bigot? I'm sure you're really concerned about these issues through minimization and dismissal. As well as false equivalence. BLM never said only black Lives matter, it's black Lives matter also. If you have this knee jerk reaction to justice and equality then you may be part of the problem. And for your information black on black crime is a misnomer. Most crime is intracial, violence is violence regardless. If you're really about "justice not just us" then you get stand for everyone not just for people that look like yourself. Every case doesn't involve "thugs" to generalize all cases to be same,shows exactly where you are coming from.

      yes it is racist. blm is for police murdering blacks. there is another organization for blacks killing blacks...why don't u know that? bc u never thought yo put itself in black people shoes. u just assume life for them is like it is for you...it's not. that goes for any race of people.
