She is 18 and pot is legal in many states...but she is being a little inconsiderate to her parents doing it in public. She looks like she is "trying too hard to be cool" and that makes her sort of a dork instead. I am going to slightly disagree with you, Ti. While there are plenty of teenagers who are straight edge and don't do drugs, most people who do marijuana usually do start in their teens and teenage weed smokers are pretty common so I would consider this typical teenage behavior. But I do agree that Malia needs to have more discretion and choose better friends. With all these people gunning for her father, why give them the ammunition?
I agree with you Nik Davis. Normal does not mean all-inclusive, it means most. I believe most teenagers have or will try drugs, maybe not weed, but some form of drug, so I believe this does fall into the "normal" category. I do agree however that Malia needs to be more mindful of what she does in public and in private. The world is watching her and unfortunate for her and other famous people, there is always someone willing to sell them out for the right price. I don't think this act in any way discredits her upbringing or diminishes her credibility of being a role model. I think she has a clear opportunity to show what's she's really made of in her comeback. How she handles herself going forward will be the deciding factor.

I see what you're saying, however, Scrap from LHHATL had multiple pounds of marijuana with intent to sell. Also, I've been to those types of concerts; the cops really don't do much when "everybody's" doing it. It's too much manpower when they have to keep the look out for more serious crimes.

I thought weed was legal in many states, now! Why are people even freaking out about this. I do not smoke weed! But, I never got what the big deal was! I have never witnessed anyone starting fights and killing folks from smoking weed along. Alcohol is more dangerous to people than weed, but no one bat a lash when grown folks get sloppy drunk on the weekends. Many of them go out and drive right afterwards! To me that is way more dangerous than smoking a damn joint!
