  • Just a short video showing a few scenes from the "Aliens" Bluray. Part of the Anthology Blu Ray set.
    Amazing work on the restoration of this classic, looks amazing on the 5090 Kuro.
    Sorry for the camera shaking during the gear up scenes, i will upload more of this when i get time.

    My dream TV. No matter how good picture will the other TVs have, I love the massive bezel on that KURO. No TV nowdays has it.

    I've got 2 of these. 1 in the living room, and 1 in my game room.
    Best tv ever made.
    I have both standing on the original standard. Incl the original Pioneer soundbar.
    I need a older tv because of all the connection options, like scart, component, vga, hdmi etc.
    The only drawback is the power consumption... 500+ watts an hour.

    Every movie lover should have a plasma tv at their home.. I got a panasonic 60" plasma for only watching horror movies :) (dark movies like aliens) but i got another smart tv i watch tv series , soccer (football) matches , and random shows ect... I'm planing to buy 60" or larger a good OLED tv but they r still expensive.

      Try my settings.. Go into manual colour temp, Set high blue to 12.. high green leave at 0.. high red -6.. leave low colours as they are 0. Set enhancer mode to 2.. Leave contrast colour brightness at factory setting.. See what you think.. Oblivion looks incredible.

      Yep, hasn’t missed a beat since 2008, it’s on the wall in my garage now without a shred of burn in or a single dead pixel anywhere, legendary bit of kit 👍

    i founf a used one for 400$...is it worth it at your opinion??

    • @BBTV56k
      @BBTV56k  6 лет назад +2

      optimumw1 Entirely down to how much 4K and aesthetics matter to you. It’s a big bulky Tv with no smart features and starting to show its age in certain places, but the image for me is still mind blowing. Mine is still working flawlessly and it’s now over 10 years old 👍

      i dont care about smart feautures and all this stuff...i only care about image quality...my only concern is how much time is it going to last because this model is already 10 year old...
