  • Short vid of my Vauxhall Nova C20XE running SBD motorsport Jenvey TP 208 throttle bodies on the Dyno.
Just a quick check to see how the car was fuelling and also to allow PCS Tuning to carry out some adjustments of the SBD motorsport base map.
Everything running fine with the car making around 180 HP on the standard 31 year old engine, baby numbers by todays standards but still fun on the B roads in a small 800kg chassis.
Thanks to PCS Tuning for the Mapping work and Performance Logic in Bonnybridge Scotland for the Dyno time, excellent service and highly reccommended.

Thinking of having this sort of set up on my Astra once I get to it, sounds mad

I love it, you won’t get the numbers that come with LET power but there’s a certain appeal of the power delivery and noise from a sorted XE on ITBs, it’s a very punchy and responsive engine and it was exactly what I was after, it’s definitely a nice useable power for the cars weight and feels very lively when out on the B-roads 👍

All stock internals pistons and cams etc, I have added arp bolts to the bottom end and there is a 2.5 inch inch custom exhaust system and manifold fitted along with a lightweight flywheel. The car is as quick as I want it to be now really so don't see the need to do anything else internally, instead i'm just keeping it running sweet and getting out and enjoying it as much as possible when the weather permits.
