I remember when this happened. Many meme pages were created (yes, I even made one lol ). Unfortunately, many people began selling their wheels right away because they didn't wanted to do nothing with the company and for what it stood for during that time.

Honestly, WCI makes some quality wheels, and before I finished this video I was like "yea I could probably look past whatever happened." But after I did some research on the incident I just felt embarrassed for them, most immature shit I've seen in a long time. Never gonna get my $$$ WCI.

Watercooledind is here in my home town and these guys are really chill everything is done in house from powder coating to tire stretching, they’re legit.. yes that happened but everyone in that whole ordeal has moved on from that onto bigger things

I remember when that whole racism thing went down. I was going to buy a set of WCI's but I ended up buying Rotiform's instead because of the image that got attached to WCI with the racism stuff.
It is sad how ppl decide to buy something completely irrelevant to the end product. Like saying I wont buy a German or Italian car cause they started 2 wars or I wont buy American stuff cause they nuked Japan

Beside that, I would not trust a new wheel brand like that when I can have Work or Rays instead. Plus all of their designs are just ugly.

I remember reading the pm's between the two, it was all over fb and IG. Absolutely disgusted. For a straight year, WCI was all you heard. But then they fell apart in days. Pretty sad because they had some pretty dope wheels. Reputation is everything. Even when we dont care what others think, you always need to watch what you say om social media and real life. Everyone has a phone, and more than 95% have a camera

Like the show it’s full of great information on rim companies I would like to see some more. I would like to see something on the KMC brand
their cast wheels were not directional. all 4 were the same direction.
Also their customer service is crap to say the least. The drama was just an icing on the cake.

Interesting to come across this considering the fact that way before any of this unfolded, at least a third of the VW/Audi communities I was involved in (including forums) had a common hate towards the owner. Things I remember seeing and hearing was that “he’s a little spoiled punk”, was caught putting down Rotiform and other competitors multiple times (creating fake rumors about competitors wheels cracking on speed bumps) and pretty much that he was an entitled little prick. I can’t confirm any of that since I don’t know him but I’d never fork over hard earned money to a company that’s owned by a person who’d say all that.

What ever happen to art in motion wheels? I had a set of mr2’s and loved them. Always wanted a multi piece wheel from them but never could get ahold of them or even find a website selling a decent set.
