A commenter pointed out that the Saint Jane website states the following for this sunscreen: "A mineral and Reef Safe skin protectant and sunscreen that shields the skin from both UVA and UVB rays. Non-Nano Zinc Oxide."

Since filming this video, I have found some sunscreens that I really like and have posted video reviews of them. All my sunscreen videos are on this playlist - I hope that they are helpful to you! ruclips.net/p/PLx3n41_VKayY0DFZsuzoSisjo2GOW-XSH

I noticed in re-watching this after posting that I called the product the "Saint Jane Luxury Skin Ritual Sunscreen" at the beginning of the video. The actual name is the "Saint Jane Luxury Sun Ritual Sunscreen." So sorry to have made that mistake! ❤

I very much appreciate your calm and soothing voice and demeanor. Keep up the good work!😊
I’m really enjoying the Tarte Amazonian Clay BB tinted moisturizer sunscreen. It doesn’t sweat off my face, even during horseback riding!

As a marketer, I don't really think it's going to be a sustainable competitive advantage (especially with AI progressing so rapidly) as a content creator to try to copy what other people look like or sound like or focus on. And so I have concluded that if I have it as a goal just to make videos that I would want to watch myself, and to do so in a way that feels comfortable for me, that eventually - if I can keep improving the quality - there may be a decent sized audience for them. Maybe it will work out, maybe not. But in any case, i don't see my goal here to become more like other people on RUclips, at all. I feel like what I instead want to do is to come across more as myself, in a way that feels pleasant and sustainable for me. Which certainly isn't going to be a style that is going to be appealing to everyone who watches beauty content here, and that is fine.
I did buy a small container of that Tarte product and so will give it a try soon! ❤

@@lisapetrison-beautyreviews I think lots of beauty content consumers are starting to get tired of the way many influencers are so similar to each other, almost as if they’re following the same script. Thank you for being different!

I wrote a hamlet soliloquy but it was too long for you tube . I like agency’s. Silk screen 30 spf, been using new makeup line at Sephora called Ciele and it’s good, spf powder of 50 for touch ups, blush’s , etc . I have normal skin with history of skin cancers . So I need to use spfs in winter , on car, inside, and reapply outside. The easier the better for me. Thx for research ❤❤❤

So sorry to hear that RUclips deleted. your comment! I am glad to hear that the Agency one has been good for you. The Ciele products all do have sunscreen boosters in them - the powder version has both BOS and tridecyl salicylate, for instance. But a lot of people do like their products a lot. It also might be that if that powder is put over the top of existing makeup, the chemical might not make it all the way to the skin and therefore might not be as irritating. Although I'm not sure that it would work as well then, hmmm. Thanks for watching the video! 💗

@@lisapetrison-beautyreviews that’s a good point. I use it every 2 hours but I have a full face of spf on under and some concealer . The kbeauty sticks from beauty of Joseon and their liquid spf 50 is what I love under neath . Have you dove into Korean / Japanese skin care , spf yet ? I’d love your take as that is 70% of my skincare, spf. Also missha has a 45 spf which is a foundation . Yes styles/ iHerb/ Amazon / stylevanna are how I buy these. Thx again !

@@melp8175 This is a little complex, due to different sunscreens being available in different countries. For instance, I think this is the sunscreen stick that you are referring to, and it contains three different sunscreens (Uvinul A Plus, Tinosorb S and Uvinul T 150) that are not allowed in the U.S. Plus it has BOS in it.
      beautyofjoseon.com/products/matte-sun-stick-mugwort-camelia-set-2pack
And the sunscreens in this one also are not allowed in the U.S. (Iscotrizinol, Uvinul A Plus, Tinosorb M and Uvinul T 150).
      beautyofjoseon.com/products/relief-sun-rice-probiotics
I have heard some people say that European sunscreen ingredients may be less irritating than some of the U.S. ones, but that is what people also say about octisalate/BOS. And those have been very irritating for me (something that I didn't realize until I became really ruthless in adopting a zero-tolerance policy toward anything that was irritating to me at all).
But it sounds like you are doing well with the products that you are using, and so I am happy for you about that!
I periodically look into trying more Korean or Japanese products, but usually those are at keast as likely to have problematic ingredients (such as synthetic fragrance and other stuff) in them as anything made in the U.S. or Europe. The ISDIN sunscreen that was on Angie Hot & Flashy's list looks like it would be particularly bad for me despite not including any sunscreen boosters, for instance. And for others as well, if we trust EWG's assessments of those ingredients.
But I have really liked the Korean-made foundation and cleanser from Youthforia (hopefully they can stay in business!), and I like the Haus Labs foundation, and I would like the Fenty Soft'lit foundation if it weren't so waterproof, and the Peach & Lily products (they do make a few things without any fragrance) that i am trying seem promising. And I bought some other Korean skincare recently, including some from a company called something like IsnTree? iHerb seems to carry a fair amount of Korean skincare and so I have spent some time on their site and placed some orders.
I feel like I would really like most things from Tatcha if they were unscented. (Supposedly it is natural fragrance but it still is a little bothersome to me.). I just got a cleanser set from Victoria Beckham that is made in Japan and I do like that a lot so far.
I seem to waste even more time unsuccessfully trying to find out info about Korean skincare than I do with other skincare because the ingredients often are not listed online or are in Korean though. So I definitely would like to hear suggestions from people with sensitive skin and who are avoiding things like fragrance about this!

@@lisapetrison-beautyreviews makes sense. I be bought issntree for years , and like everything from it: green tea toner , watery gel, HA toner, water cream spf . ( I saw last week they have a new lavender SPF made with red onion extract! Purple turns white on skin . Don’t know the benefits of red onion .

That sunscreen from Supergoop is one that I would like to try but I haven't picked it up yet. It takes me a while to try things since I am careful about trying just one thing at a time on my sensitive skin, plus I try to give everything a thorough try before reporting on them. Thanks for the suggestion! ❤

FYI, the manufacturer claims the zinc is non-nano.
