Cat attack! Yes, It happened to me twice on TV.
I was attacked by a cat on TV when I lived in Maryland and my own cat attacked me while shooting a tv promo. so yes, it happened to me twice.
I was attacked by a cat on LIVE TV when I worked as a news anchor in Maryland and then my OWN kitten attacked me while we were shooting a TV promo.
These clips have turned up on a bunch of blooper reels and videos after I posted them on social media.
My cat's name is Betty, and she's super sweet rescue kitty . She clearly did not want to be in front of the camera that day.
The other cat's name is Midnight, and YES.. he eventually got adopted. But they had to put "I'm a biter" on his adoption papers because of this... HAHAHA.

One of many reasons I prefer dogs. :-) Glad it didn't go worse. I wonder if the cat didn't like you talking to the camera. Cat looking at you and wondering who you're talking to. Not like you were on a telephone.
My goodness!....two close-calls, both could have been much worse. You handled them quite well. Glad you’re ok.

And that right there is why I'll never own a Cat.. I've gotten attacked by a few of them for no reason at all...
