- Dr. Rachael Horner is a first year resident in the University of New Mexico's Department of Emergency Medicine, and she believes that quitting is underrated.
She holds an MD from Ben Gurion University, a master's degree from George Washington University, and has a background in personal and staff development.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
I was so desperate that I typed "is it okay to quit your education" on youtube and it leads me to this video. I'm so sick that I always need validation before deciding thing, I want to release all pressure that has been pressed me all the time without feeling guilty or regret. I want to quit this fast paced life and just live with my own speed that I can bare, but I'm afraid of being pointed as lazy or unsuccessful. I hate criticism while what I always do is trying my best, but somehow life always drags me down.
The same here . I reached the point that I started googling about how many students quit their phds' and if it is ok to take such descision seriously. I feel guilty for not being able to proceed. I became such miserable and depressed person. I am putting my mental health at risk

I finished my PhD, but I hated it throughout. I don't think getting it improved my life.

She speaks like a child, she cannot let go. She has the money, get some speech therapy. I have no respect for women who use their 10-year-old voices; I am sure when she is angry or with very intimate friends, she doesn't speak like this.
