    I treat this vehicle like a tank for rough terrain and weather, not a family oriented car.
    If you want usable 3rd row space then go for a minivan. You could argue that cars like the Honda Pilot and Kia Telluride have good third row for passengers but you will also give up cargo space with them folded up. These cars are not meant to haul 7-8 passengers and squeeze everyone’s bags at once. That’s a minivan.

      The Lexus also comes without that stupid rear cargo floor, that's honestly the biggest deal breaker for me. A full-size third row SUV is meant for passengers while simultaneously being able to load stuff, I can't believe this is actually a thing in the Sequoia.

    The one thing that really bothers me about most toyota's is that they don't angle the centre screen slightly towards the driver. Makes it harder to navigate and it reflects more of the light coming in from the passenger side window.

    • @kevinbonquyquy1047
      @kevinbonquyquy1047 Год назад +4

      I mean that goes for most car manufacturers. Like Hondas, Mazdas, Ford, Nissan, bmws, Mercedes, etc. all have screens that are not angled. The only two I can think of off the top of my head are kias and Hyundais so you don’t have many options

    • @anonymousguy6928

    • @kevinbonquyquy1047
      @kevinbonquyquy1047 Год назад

      @@anonymousguy6928 I hate angular systems too. Yes it’s nice for the driver to have a better view of the screen, but then that means the passenger can’t see the screen as well now. And most of the time if I have a passenger, they’re the ones interacting with the screen more so I can do the driving. It also makes the infotainment look worse when it’s not symmetrical and centered.

    This is the best type of touchscreen: big with small bezels, and physical climate controls below. Nothing worse than a Mach-E type screen or the setup in the new M2. I don't want ugly touchscreen climate controls that have a clashing design with carplay or android auto. I also don't want to be forced to use a laggy screen and take my eyes off the road to change the A/C. Keep them physical, like Toyota has.

So again paying $80k for stuff that's basically useless...

    Did you notice any fit and finish quality issues? Rattling or shaking that’s annoying? I have my eye on this or a Yukon Denali and I’m worried about the build quality on this new build and solid rear axel. Also, does the air suspension make the ride more comfortable? Thanks

    • @workphone9342
      @workphone9342 Год назад

      Yukon Denali is going to be a much better choice. You get a better interior, better build quality, more cargo space, more refined controls, and a more capable and reliable drivetrain. It's pretty much a no brainier. GM SUVs are one of the best out there as they have been making them a long time. The air suspension on the new Sequoia does not make the ride that much better and causes the vehicle to jiggle when over bumps, it feels a bit unsettld. In comparison, the air suspension plus Magnet ride dampers on the Yukon is much more refined and comfortable.
