- 👋 In todays review we check out the all new and completely redesigned 2024 Toyota Sequoia! This model is the Platium! The all new Toyota Sequoia resembles the new Toyota Tundra from the front and even has a beefier set of side mirrors or tow mirrors! This is a very capable large SUV from hauling people to hauling a 9K pound trailer! The exterior on the all new 2024 Toyota Sequoia has a bold design from the front! Massive grill, but for the size it works well! The rest of the body lines have been significantly updated from the previous generation and actually has definition and styling to it! The interior is just as nice with the digital gauges, the massive infotainment system, full moon roof and plenty of storage!
If you need a large SUV and a full three row vehicle, the new 2024 Toyota Sequoia is a great option! Out on the road it's very comfortable and smooth and handles it's curb weight well! This would be a great daily driver and it just has such a cool presence to it and I love the upgrades that Toyota has finally decided to add to the Sequoia! The new engine packs a punch and has so much more power than the outgoing V8 and it can even tow more! Very cool to see a smaller engine which is also more fuel efficient having these capabilities!
It was a great SUV to take on a road trip and fuel efficient as well for it's size and purpose!

Good review. It would have been great if you would have covered the drivers assist features (Cruise Control, Lane Tracing, etc.) while doing the test drive/road trip.
Those are pretty basic to be honest, not really much to show.
Would be nice if you could easily sway out those huge mirrors for something smaller when you don't need them.
You’d just get the normal mirrors instead lol!

I put $1000 deposit Sep 2023 for a Capstone!! Got impatient and bought a Jeep Wagoneer until this shows up, now I’m in doubt if I should trade my Wagoneer for this

Would be nice with a Toyota Sequoia Limited and SR5 with 8 seats rather than 7. And down the description, you misspelled the word PLATINUM.
I spelled it correctly, the same way you spelled it’s they offer that as well.
I struggled to adapt this car because the principal thought about this model was for an enormous family and or group of people to travel. Still, plastic materials over the car highway sounded horrible, and space in the third row and behind the third row looked useless. Reliability, I understand, but it isn't very sensible for the majority family's
Yeah this isn't the most roomy family SUV for its size. The Lexus TX is pretty nice and very spacious. We had one that was low $60k range and I liked it a lot! ruclips.net/video/NyVdz-UwYtg/видео.html
Whats the difference between Platinum & Capstone?
Capstone is a bit more luxury focused. A bit nicer interior and a few more options. Toyota's website will show you the exact upgrades

Does this have auto start?
From the key fob, I don’t think so.
Auto 4x4 would have been nice at this price and compared to its competitors... as it's already lacking cargo space and no independent rear suspension.... I really wanted to buy this as I'm more into Toyota than other full-sized American SUV for reliability... but damn! I might have to go for one of the American full-size suv... unless toyota updates it for next gen.
You'll have to wait awhile since this model is only a few years old! Why do you want auto 4x4? Nothing wrong with having this system, and it'll save more gas not being auto. Rear cargo is a bit smaller, but not bad! We had one packed with people and suit cases and it worked fine.
I went throught the same thing...I got a suburban...independent rear and better technology...more cargo space

I would buy one if they had the option to remove that stupid 3rd row. Hate how it eats up all of the storage space when I dont need it. The fact you can’t option that out is insane to me.
Yeah that would be cool to see. You can get the Lexus GX550 or Land Cruiser or Toyota 4Runner if you don't want the third row.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed all of those (in 2024 models) are smaller than the sequoia. Toyota needs a vehicle that can compete with Tahoe and Suburban. Sequoia used to fill that gap but now that third row and raised floor eats up all of the space. Rear storage is laughable in the Sequoia. Toyota fixes that, they can have all of my money. The exterior and interior redesign look fantastic… the massive design flaw and miss (and barrier to entry) is that rear cargo design and lack of space.
Does the i-force max have the same issue as the I-force
So far I don't think the hybrids are having the issues

Not sure why they would make a family SUV and no include a rear media for kids etc like Tahoe or other manufactures...
Honestly I would never use that, so just depends on what you like. I’d be happy without it. Never used one in a car ever.
@@BrosFOURRSpeedtrue. We own a 2021 Tahoe and it has it. We have grandchildren that love the rear media. We looked at this SUV a few weeks ago and that was a show stopper for us
It has all the tow stuff but where is the hitch.
Hidden in the bumper, most vehicles like this have a pop out piece so it’s hidden when not used.

The fact that the 3rd row doesn’t fold flat is poo poo. I got the 24 Limited Ford Expedition Stealth addition and it’s more spacious than this. I can tow up to 10,000 with the tow package. I’m also getting 22 Hwy and 19 City and mine is not hybrid. I love my expy.
Yeah the hybrid system takes up some space with the battery pack unfortunately.
eco mod??? buy prius. Remove 3 row and the battery to make the sequoia great again.
A Prius can’t tow or have three rows, so if that’s what you need, you buy something like this sequoia. The hybrid system is great as well.

Not really. Anyone who budgets well can afford a car like this. Not hard on a middle class salary
Turbos that will break, causing premature engine wear, which will break. Adaptive suspension, which will definitely break. Hybrid battery, which will break. A 3rd row that can't disappear due to said hybrid battery. All this for $70,000. What a steal... for Toyota.

And? It’s an suv and a pickup? No one is ever going past 80 mph..if you want speed, you buy a car that can actually handle that speed, not a jumbo vehicle..
