So nice, but I imagine working on these new cars is probably impossible lol. I have the first gen and can still do most of the fixes myself for now lol
Toyota didn't want to build this SUV and they were coerced by Toyota USA to build it. That is all you need to know about this SUV. It is simply a SUV version of Tundra and as long as that is what you want this is a good choice. If you want a real full-size people-hauler SUV, there are better options.
Every body on frame SUV on the market is simply an SUV version of their full size truck. None of them will beat a minivan or a van for the purpose of people hauling. They exist so people feel more secure in rougher climates.
@@astaldo They are indeed SUV versions of trucks but with enough modifications such that their main focus is on people. For example, fully independent suspensions for comfort and handling, good third-row seatings for adults etc.
@@americandude3825 Thanks, I'll explore those. We've got 4 boys so will need a lot of space. Unfortunately, I really loved the look of the new Sequoias, so it's a bummer to hear they're so-so.
@@Peter-fq4im If you are fine with the third row compromise (which you will have to be if you buy Sequoia), why not look at a smaller three row? Lexus GX is my absolute favorite and one of the best value for money in the current market. Or wait for a year when they will release a hybrid GX. If you never plan on doing off road, Acura MDX is another great option. Is sporty, amazing interior and sound system, good AWD; and has some cool minivan like features like cabin talk and removable middle seat. For BOF full size, pick one from Ford or GM, and don’t be concerned too much about “reliability”. They are plenty reliable if you take care of them, and the workshops around the country will have parts and mechanics to work on them even 15 years down the line.
Looks good built too much technology. I want an off-roader with less technology. I wish we could get the Suzuki Jimny in North America. That would be amazing.
It’s disgusting they left the interior pillars and headlining in grey instead of black when everything else is black or red . Gives it a cheaper look or unfinished .
I definitely do not like the new style....👎 I love the last body style with the 20 inch tires. I have more ground clearance. This model looks like it's squatting on the ground... we definitely do not buy SUVS and trucks to feel like I am sitting in a car on the ground.... plus they said now the interior size is a little smaller to compare with a chevy Tahoe.. that's a giant mistake, because I didn't buy a Tahoe because of the no leg room especially for the second and third row... I hope Toyota gets some better car designers because they are dropping the ball on this
The interior is so nice!
I love the red seats
I really enjoy watching your video Topher!
Not Topher, substitute-Topher.
dude i just love this model 🖤🖤🖤🖤
I’m getting this after my Yukon xl
These look really good
I like the inside of the car
They should put a full black headliner to match the interior
this Is my new favorite! Love the red interior!

my new goal is to get one used in 5 years xD
Get it from a rich soccer mom at half the price.
My awd camry would easily do this course. Not really a test. Looks like my rock road after a small rain
I could feel that understeer through my screen 😵
What do you expect he is driving in the mud
@@davidusc1196 He's expecting Toyota to develop physics defying handling.
The sound 🫣
What this car for, if its just a copy of land cruiser 300?
Its a cheaper and better land cruiser
LC is not available in the US and Sequoia I believe is only in the US
@@Ignite619 better? it doesn't have the UZ V8 engine so it's definitely not "better"
@@Ignite619 no it’s not better than the Landcruiser. The Landcruiser has full time 4wd as well as 4 hi and lo. This one doesn’t.

Excellent 😈😈
What happened at 16:13?? 🤣🤣🤣
Can’t find it in my area, southeast US
Looks really good
Amazing
prepare to get that second mortgage for this truck😩😩😩
The red is giving me headaches!
What gasoline does this car use?
2023 Toyota Sequoia Hybrid TRD PRO!
How does it compare interior wise compared to the 200LC you drove?
The 1st Gen Sequoia has 10.6 inches of stock ground clearance....
6:58 The technical term is attitude 🤓
You did not just use your turning blinker, on that trail!!! 😮 8:50
love the interior look but, I do see a ton of under steering going on which ultimately would deter me from wanting to get one.
Excuse the newb question, but isn’t understeer to be expected on all cars when you’re in the mud?
Bro has a Whole substitute
What a tank
if only I had money....I buy this car...but I am broke
Where's the off road part?

5th gen 4Runner won't do it for you?
Just get a current gen 4 runner

We get it Toyota… u like red! 🥴
This has the older chime like in their 2000s cars.

I lasted 10 minutes then killed myself....couldn't take the beeping anymore.
Is it me or does the interior look more orangeish than a full out red?
camera colours aren’t always realistic
Looks like an off-road Durango. Cool!
Hope not all trd have red interior
do you still ride euc?
I do! Inmotion V12HT video coming soon

Do not pay a dealer over sticker for this. Don’t be that guy.
So much beeping from that infotainment. Good job Toyota
Would you happen to know why it kept beeping. I was thinking the same thing. It's to much lol.
I like it but would not pay for that price for just a v6

Nice car ❤️❤️😊🥰
75 000 cheaper than a luxury SUV similarly spec'd
Sign me up for a bronco raptor
I love everything about this car other then it’s nonsense hybrid v6, miss the v8
If it was efficient I’d at least understand but it gets under 20mpg so it’s the most useless hybrid system I’ve ever heard of
Where the Fart is my 100 pound bovier going to go in the back! Kinda useless truck for a monster truck no??
A 68' VW bug could make it through this course! for $70 K less
It's not 1968 anymore grandpa
I honestly think I could take my 2004 Pilot through that with little to no issue, the Toyota representative guy was being dramatic af

“Off-road”? That is a dirty driveway.
This is offroad?🤣
Red interior is lame. The white interior in the capstone is stupid. Thanks for the drive.
Toyota seems to think Red interior = luxury. Maybe 5 years ago but now it’s overdone and UGLY.
If only Ford and gm build like these what's up with them no designs 🤬🤬🤬 they all need to be fired
Good job fake Topher 🙂
that interior is hideous on that car
It looks already dated
Horrible approach angles
Red seats are ugly
Beautiful truck! But damn that red! 🤕
