- After reuploading and doubling the bit rate from 70 to 145mbps, the RUclips compression for "low-tier" channels has ruined this video even at 4K, and it is unable to fulfil it's purpose as a graphical showcase. At least I still had fun making the video ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ RUclips, please fix...

This is how I imagined GTHD Classic would look like if it was released on PS3 back then (literally GT4 remaster, free component of GTHD Premium). Instead they scrapped this and made GT5 Prologue.

@@babysaleem1 should of edited the final ratio i had a F1 engine with a R34 turbo and F1 transmission that 787B sent it into a wall 🤣
Now if only there's the retexture that changes the sponsors for some cars to be the correct one, and unobscuring the license plates for some of the rally cars...

How did gran turismo 4 get the chase cam perfectly and then every other gran turismo effed it up afterwards
The chase cam in this video is actually completely modded through nenkais GT3 chase cam and secret menu controls (in the description)

have you put other parts from other cars on that F1 ? might be why the sounds is changing it's what has happed to me when using Gran Turismo 4 Hybrid Creator mod
I don't have any cheat engines enabled so I don't know why the sound is broken ahaha

3rd car to show is wrong… CLK GTR? that's the 1997. here it's the CLK LM. and the backflips? it's 1999. the CLR. that's a huge facepalm right there…
It's the CLK-LM skin but it's still a GTR in-game, tomato tomato you still understood what I said
@@babysaleem1 looks at the specs. it has a 4986cc V8. not the 6.0L V12. that's the LM in FIA GT spec. it's 2023 and people still think the CLK GTR and CLK LM are exactly the same car… also look at the hood and compare it to the actual CLK GTR. the hood on the LM is slightly lower…

It's not a CLK GTR, it's CLK LM and it never backflipped, only CLR backflipped in '99 and it's a totally diffrent car, it just kinda resembles a CLK GTR, but it's far diffrent. The mod looks fuckin' awesome though and I love it.

I own a copy of Topaz Gigapixel AI upscaler. The environment textures need work big time. Ugly, pixelated buildings ruin the immersion. Let me know if I can help.
i 100% agree!! the LOD textures over distances while being an upgrade to vanilla still looks terrible. I am not the author of this mod but if you're interested i've left his channel in the description!

Reflection looks clean cuz there is used very old trick. The car is rendered twice, one u can see as "the car" and second as reflection. At the first glance, it looks cool and nice, but if u look close enough, u will notice that it "reflects" things it should not "reflect". For example, decals on top of the car and behind curves of car that would not be possible to reflect in real life. IT would be awesome to see Ray Tracing or Path Tracing in this game. Then u would see proper reflections.
I never knew that! I guess they had to be sneaky with limited PS2 tech. Ray tracing gran turismo would be a dream
@@babysaleem1 Only in car selection tho. Other "reflections" were only transparent decals etc.
hola. A mi me pasa que en el pcsx2 nightly ultima version en el gran turismo 4 se ve una linea vertical en la calle en direct3d 11 y 12. En los otros renderizadores no se ve la linea vertical en la calle. Alguna solucion para este problema...

I keep getting lag whenever i go to showcase a car but it's fine during a race, any idea as to why?
Don't stress it's a normal problem to have as I've experienced it too. imo it's because the showcase seems to require a lot more PC power and renders vehicles in a lot more detail than racing does, but maybe the mod authors have a different opinion. Try turning your settings down a little :)
i think they run an improved version of the lighting and reflections on the model which is not optimized for pcs2x implementation, maybe we will see optimizations around this in the future

Make sure that you've copied my settings in the description and have Progressive 480i selected in-game :)

no this mod doesn't affect gameplay :) you can use Cheat Engine for that, but i don't run that program so im not going to make a video for it

yes this can be done by downloading the savefile from the ps2 memory card into a usb drive using ulaunchelf

No this wouldn't work on original PS2 as this requires a lot of power
