How to Build trails and clear trails that haven't been touched in 30-50 years Forestry and homestead

Here on our homestead, forest, farm, there are a lot of old logging trails known as skidding trails. The property has not been maintained for at least 30 years to as much as 50. The skidding trails are overgrown, and some trees are over a foot in diameter. On ‪@ahbuildingafarm‬ we are sharing what we learn as we begin to manage the forest, establish our homestead and build our home. We have a long way to go and a lot to learn.
I filmed how I find the logging trails, select which trees to cut down and how I ensure that the tree falls in a clear area so I can cut it up or be prepared to haul it out.
