I try to reply often, but "I don't get step X" or "it doesn't work" is too unspecific and I can't help unless I know exactly what problem you have.
COMMON FIRST LAYER PROBLEMS
Step 1 & 2. If the side colors of the cross or first layer don't line up the way I showed it in the video, then you need to redo it. Pay attention to ALL of the colors on one piece, and don't just pick white pieces randomly. I talk about this in the video, how I'm trying to match the other colors of the white piece (like white/orange etc.)
TAKING PIECES OUT OF THE SECOND LAYER
Step 3. At 5:33 I say "you should already know how to do this". I admit this is unclear. You should insert a random yellow edge into the second layer using the same algorithm you use for solving the second layer. If this does not make sense, watch the example solve video linked at the bottom of this comment.
COMMON TOP LAYER PROBLEMS
Step 4. If you can only get 1 or 3 edge pieces of the top cross, you need to reassemble the cube as solved.
Step 5. There should be no problems here.
Step 6. If you ever get only 2 corners in the correct location, you need to reassemble the cube as solved.
Step 7. Finish the 4 moves (don't stop at 3) every time. Turn the bottom (don't rotate the whole cube) to get the next piece. If it STILL does not work, you need to reassemble the cube as solved.
"Why do I need to reassemble the cube?"
Randomly assembling the cube only has a 1/12 chance of being solvable. If you've ever taken the cube apart or twisted corner pieces, then that can be the problem. If stickers have been switched, you will have to switch them back.

*MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE 4 MOVES*
1:52 has the 4 moves, and you have to be able to do this to understand what "4 moves" means when I use it again later on.
*COMMON FIRST LAYER PROBLEMS*

Something always goes wrong in the final step. I have gotten there five different times and then something about the instructions isn't working out because it always ends up messing the rest of the cube up as the pieces are moved correctly into the bottom of the cube.
I solved this like 10 times already because of this tutorial. I used to think it was impossible ever since I got my first cube, but now I can solve it on the spot. Thank you so much for helping me achieve something I’ve always wanted to do.
I THINK I BROKE THE RECORD!!... Longest time spent solving a rubik's cube: 10 hours! Yes!!!
TIPS: For first time solvers that are slow (like me). Pause each step or move, then mimic. Before solving, practice the 4 moves left side and 4 moves right side. I like to say "UP, AWAY, DOWN, and BACK" when doing those 4 moves. This video taught my 10 yo. nephew and 8 year old niece. They did every move on their own.

In the last step when Dylan says corners he means the yellow corners... So you apply the algorithm as Dylan says and look whether the yellow corner is solved or not.. if it is solved then move as he says and it will be solved.

My son's friend asked me how to solve a rubiks cube. I said eh, I dunno, let's look it up. Wound up here. I'm a disabled combat veteran with a brain injury but this instruction was dope so I managed to solve it. I went "Ah that's fun" started watching other videos here and Tingman videos. Wound up ordering a speed cube off Amazon that showed up today (the next day.) Somehow I managed to solve once at around 3 minutes today even with slower hand eye coordination and reaction time. I've had my cube for years now, was gifted it by a friend. It's very old and rickety, so turning it is a bit painful, what with all the crunching. But I've finally solved it, and I'm so happy! Your tutorial helped me solved my rubik's cube I and my siblings moved the colors to random places maybe a decade ago!!! We almost ruined four glued paper colors to "put them back together" but it ruined the cube's function. I discovered your tutorial yesterday and it took me in total 8 and a half hours(i took a break at night, to cleanse my mind)!! I made many mistakes while trying to solve it, but the more times I began from the start, the faster I became to do the first 2 layers. It's the third layer that got me frustrated when I messed the cube in the *final step*.

I'm 50 years old and got my first Rubik's Cube when I was 10 and have never been able to solve it. In February 2021 I set out to finally learn how to solve one. Using a bunch of your videos I managed to learn how to do it in about 5 days and went from averaging 5 minutes initially using the beginner method to under 1 minute with the beginner method now in December 2021. I only use the beginner method and can't wait to learn CFOP. Need to master F2L and look ahead first.

Step 5 doesn't always work it works with pure luck. The first 2 times trying it worked well and now I'm trying to do it and did the moves he asked me to about 10 times with no result

I already knew how to do it but in another beginner method but it's faster. I don't know about others but it helped me. I would recommend also giving notations here.

I had thought I was following the four moves, but turns out I was sometimes not finishing the fourth move (Ui, or upper face rotate counterclockwise) after putting a yellow corner in place (1, 2, 3, 4... 1, 2, 3, 4... 1, 2, 3--the yellow piece is in place!) and moving on to the next corner piece. That's what was scrambling the white face.
Whenever i messed up that move, was due to me not doing the last turn of the four turn alg that he shows us to insert corners
I’ve watched SEVERAL “solve rubix cube videos” that are long and drawn out with complicated moves that are easy to fumble…this was not one of those! Thanks, just solved my first cube!

Eh,i was only a "little" confused.
I tried to solve a Rubik's Cube for 10 years (Off and On) and never managed to do more then 1 side. I did rewatch this video like 10 times but I did it. Finally for the first time in over a decade I solved a Rubik's cube. I tried it over and over again with and then eventually without help. I learned to do it in under 5 Minutes in just a couple of hours. Amazing video my man. Thank you so much.

This tutorial is PERFECT for beginners. I thought I would never be able to solve a Rubik's cube but when I watched this tutorial I thought I have a chance to solve a Rubik's cube and now I can solve the rubix cube in under 2 minutes. Definitely recommend it!
