Arrowhead and Guerilla’s sci-fi weapon designs are so peak. Functional, unique, and, most importantly, cool. Even the cursed Bizon-Uzi hybrid that is the StA-11 is definitely something that could exist irl.
Gear is fantastic. It’s also kind of crazy how much cooler the gun designs are for Killzone when compared to Helldivers. Just look at the New SMG compared to the MP5 that was released a month ago or so, it’s night and day.
Well I can get the confusion, the Truth Enforcer SMG is probably based on the UMP45, which is basically a replacement for MP5 the MP5 in American service. It never actually replaced the MP5 in American service though
@ Yea your right the UMP45, with that being said if it look more like the UMP I think it would look way better, it’s a goo gun in the game, but I hate the look.

I grabbed the sta assault rifle because I was raised on killzone as a kid, other than that, most of the gear in the super store isnt worth it, no point in getting the helghast armor since they released the light one for free as an apology, unless you really wanted a medium armor version. All in all, if you liked killzone then you're probably going to buy a few of the items like me, but a random diver wont look at the super store for a second time after seeing the price
I am guilty of buying the whole thing in the store. When I was a kid I had a PSP and Killzone Liberation. I loved Helghast. I used to draw their logo everywhere and I often built Killzone inspired Lego armies and fight scenes. When I saw the Helldivers + Killzone thing on Steam I knew instantly I will be playing as a Helghast soldier forever now in Helldivers.
That WASP launcher is now one of my favorite sci fi guns. It’s like an artillery version of a Smart Pistol from Titanfall which is another one of my favs
Now that I saw the Reload, StA-52 act more like Light Machine Gun, due to its Nature being Open Bolt, Bolt Handle Moves Forward Picking Cartridge and Fires, then Pulls Back to spits the Casing, and you have to pull the Charging handle when you heard click after last round
As a long-time Killzone fan (since KZ1 on PS2), it breaks my heart that Guerrilla Games has chosen to abandon Killzone for Horizon. It sucks, but it looks like this kind of content is all we're going to see/get from the KZ IP/franchise. Yet another nostalgic series gone to waste...
Well, the helogast older assault rifle is similar desigh from jackhammer shotgun, so when it need reload, you need to open it to change the drum mag, so it probably keep this feature even it is a normal bullpup drsigh now, you know just like carry handle, the milltray traditions😂😂😂
Its a shame that the smg is borderline useless vs the squids. It can certainly kill the voteless but it isn’t ammo-efficient doing it, and its damage makes it frequently take almost a full mag to kill the overseers
I haven’t, I think you had to have an account before they gave the free stuff, and I joined in on the whole Helldivers thing because I got tired of waiting for it to come out on Xbox, and I didn’t get any of the free stuff of this collab. Hopefully they will give people the opportunity to get the free stuff in the future, but for now I have to settle with the paid gear.

imo StA-52 has one of the hardest designs compared to most games i've seen so far, even those i find pretty cool

Regarding the Sta-52 model, Killzone and VHS rifle were released in the same year, so it is doubtful whether they were used as a model.

nothing other than rule of cool, at least you dont have to push the buttpad every reload like in the originals
