The whole series existed to answer criticism that Playstation "didn't have Halo" and the calling no longer exists. The games had some interesting ideas here and there but for the most part-was an average bunch of standard issue shooters set in ruined cities and greystone canyons with the glowy eye Nazi guys it stole from Wolf Brigade. I'd play a few of the games again, but it's easy figure out why the series was abandoned.
@@capthawkeye8010it was abandoned due to one reason you mentioned. Everything else is just judgmental white noise to make your statement appear more profound than it is.
the Keyzer's sounds are so bizarre for a bullet weapon it sounds like gunfire recorded in a empty warehouse recorded with a cheap phone mic and then sent out compressed to a very low bitrate and then boosted bass and add reverb to make it sound HD
Not as grunty as they were in previous games. I miss the ISA's assault rifle not having that same sound to it and even the fact it's got a faster fire rate bugged me
0:52. if you fire one shot the bolt doesnt move and no empty casings are ejected, by the way i HATE when you tease the gun by firing one shot instead of unleashing in full auto, i wish i could skip these part, these guns in games are not designed to be fired like that, this game is proof of it.
I actually liked the sound of the Keyzer and Rumbler. I did play Killzone 2 and 3 and I gotta admit some animations are eh. But the new engine for Killzone Shadowfall I see as an improvement plus the recoil feels smooth. The older Killzones had intense as hell bloom when firing.
Ew...a reason for why Shadow Fall was hated, weaponry in the previous games (saved KZ1) was much more realistic or given a pseudo-realistic idea. These instead are really off with everything, i always hated how the whole game was.
Wow, I only played 2 and 3 but these animations and environments look so cheap. No wonder the game struggled to have any success - looks like management tried to make money without spending money.
I YEARN for a Killzone collection on PC
Yea no shit, they just fn abandoned the series...
Great video, shame we'll never get another Killzone game.
Now Guerilla is going to milk all the shekels from the strong and independent Womxn of Color. Really a shame..
They're too busy making ginger primitive woman game

man a lot of these sounds and animations look like a downgrade from the previous games
Yep, you can not feel de power of the weapon, the savage recoil and sound like the sta3 lmg on kz2

Id like to argue that 2 and 3 had better sounds.
agreed
The suppressors sound hella goofy
That bullpup M4 was truly unholy, but charming.
These animations ate great but the sounds leave a lot to be desired

i really like these, save for the ripper's reload sound.. yeesh

@@WdoubleyouW yet it's just the same sfx
The muzzle flashes look misplaced
They should be pushed further forward
YES, thank you!
Bullpups... Bullpups everywhere😄

i love playing this game with bots, sad when the online got shut down
Give us a new game or atleast a resistance game please!!!
great guns wasted on mediocre game. Id love to see a KZSF2 with these guns with an added gunsmith like COD
