I fix trailers like this for a living. Half an hour of welding and some grinding to clean it up nice. shouldn’t be any more than a couple hundred bucks. A few months out in the elements and corrosion will blend it right in. Don’t sweat it man🤙🏼
It’s his video but he could have just left that part out…. We’re here for education and encouragement so we’re in this thing together. If it’s none of our business, just don’t say that and don’t share it. I don’t have a truck or trailer but it’s great to know how you go about fixing it and getting it repaired. You are appreciated for your explanations and advice. You say that you are rambling but you are actually doing a great job.
Is it beneficial to only own your truck and use the company trailers vs buying your own trailer too? I’ve been looking into the o/o business side of things and would love your take brother, much love be safe out here
Why no headboards on trailer to stop steel hitting back of cab and maybe straight through cab , doesn't look safe me ,in Ireland by law we have to have a strong steel headboards to protect the drivers in case of an accident ,even a close call and you have to de emergency stop that steel is going to slide forward at speed.
You should grow your beard out longer and leave the lines fully natural, it'd look burly. Edit: Yeah, your beard goes way higher up your cheeks and further down your neck. Beards look waaayy stronger if they're left natural, and you have a hell of a beard. It's a shame not to grow it out to it's full potential. Trimming it down and leaving it short is not a good look, in my personal aesthetic opinion
why would anybody hire a show truck to do any kind of work. wow how times are changing having that truck on your proprty is like waving a flag saying sue me.
Just watched your latest video, when you were walking on top of your truck, on the girders you were telling the viewers something, sorry but couldn't hear for the background music
It is necessary to put the power board behind the cabin on the frame. If you brake hard, the iron can come into your cab😬. Greetings from Russia from the driver of Peterbilt🤝
I use to drive forklifts. Did it for 12 years and I can definitely tell you that he was going too fast or he tried to coast and rev the engine while lifting the forks and forgot to hit the clutch at the same time as the gas
Putting a new rail is a pain in the ass and doesn’t look the same better off filling in the hole then getting a good polisher the sand it smooth welders can’t do that to save their lives
A few months back I mention that I lost my 389 . It was at Alcoa . Fork lost driver was coming around a corner at high speed when he slammed in the nose of the truck pushing the engine back 6 inches . Insurance total my the truck . $160k truck down the drain

Thanks for the wave the other day in Portland man, keep up the good work 👍
Been keeping an eye out myself truck is such a beautiful beast man… 💚
I never really always just pulled into a place either because you do get stuck sometimes. Not worth doing all that maneuvering.
It's unfortunate that the trailer got damaged, but it is still fixable. Be glad it wasn't the truck that got a hole in it. Keep on trucking
Ammount of visibility from driver seat is like in a tank... O_O
Why? Why USA trucks are soooo bad?

Why is there such a big gap from back of cab to start of trailer. I'm from England and we don't seem to have that. Cheers
Not sure if you covered this topic in an older videos but did you move homes? I remember your house being different

He had to be moving to run his fork thru it. I can only imagine the jolt you took, I been there.

This question is off topic but what % tint do you have on your truck?
I use to drive forklifts. Did it for 12 years and I can definitely tell you that he was going too fast or he tried to coast and rev the engine while lifting the forks and forgot to hit the clutch at the same time as the gas
I agree 100% don’t pull in until u r sure where u are going it’s easier to walk and find out instead of having to back out of a tight spot
the patch dont mean shit in resale.. on a used trailer. Almost every flatbed has patches and welds
Having your truck right outside is nice. I like that I get into the truck at home and get back out at home.
What air cleaner lights u got on ur rig i like the glow on them
They’re the same as the cab they look different on video lol
Putting a new rail is a pain in the ass and doesn’t look the same better off filling in the hole then getting a good polisher the sand it smooth welders can’t do that to save their lives
