I drive for a heavy haul company out of Ontario and love hauling steal and wire rod also sometimes suicide coils. Usually average weight 91 - 98000 lbs. truck is looking good keep up the good work.
I wished I had gone on a trip with my brother. He used to drive as well. He used to run from Michigan to Cali like all the time. His first truck was green (Mayflower trucking). His second truck was red. I was always busy either working or in school! 😞
No not really but I started hauling steel as a company driver along with a lot of other Miscellaneous Freight. I didn’t really care when I started but eventually really enjoyed it.
@@trucking4racecars did you start out in flatbed or did you have to put time in with a van/reefer beforehand? I know companies like TMC/Maverick will train new drivers on load securement and all that jazz but that's rare from what I've heard. My dad was the GM of a flatbed company in Michigan for 20+ years, I've always wanted to get into it but my carpentry career kept me from acting on it until now and my old man passed away so I kinda lost my connection lol. Any advice?
He said!,” I gotta put this bitch into the wind and get to it!”. Lol!!! Another great video brother. Hope your doing well. The truck looks good as always. 😎🤙🏻
You just get male and female bulk heads from any hardware store. Usually if they sell compressor style fittings they’ll have the size you need. I believe it’s 5/16 I might be wrong though it’s been A While
@@trucking4racecars so you installed smaller bags then the factory bags? Factory bags are tall. I know for the front I need to buy the air bag kit to convert from leaf spring.
@@8300rpmallday no I ordered the truck with low low air leaf in the rear. Bags are the same it’s all about where the shackles are mounted the higher up on the frame the lower the truck sits. Also ordered it with a 5” car hauler front axle and factory air ride. When you switch a set up like mine to a single bag it really drops low.
Na I help out as much as I can do I can tell if something is gonna go bad or not and I can give signals or yell if I see something wrong but once in a while it gets scary
Just passed you Friday in Redding CA on I-5. Truck looks great on cam but even better in person.

Should do a Q&A on these long trips🤙🏻
Also do some 30 min podcast style videos raw footage so editing won’t take so much of your time..
What skirts are those? I absolutely love the truck man!
