This tactic is super helpful and now I’m loving the bf 109s, I’m still at beginner level so I’m not the best at it but I have seen a shift in how well I’m doing, good job on the vid
@@jimmygubbins I know, i've been playing the k4 for over a month now and when a american or japanese plane I go into a merge but still they outclimb me and rip me to shreds. But I guess I don't have enough energy to fight them effectively.
Good stuff as always. You mention something that I’ve actually never seen anyone try to explain. And it is the single most important skill and the basis of everything. Analyzing energy states. People watch doom and those guys gunnery skills. Meh, if you can properly judge energy states that is rarely a necessity. When to use your advantage, when to build an advantage and when to use their advantage against them. Just a thought.
@Drumslav Czechisenko Give it time, most american bombers dont have forward guns to defend yourself with. Then they die in one shot from everything, idk, I'm just disappointed with american bombers in this game. Just wait, your tail gets shot off instantly every time and forces a crash, while the other nations' bombers can take so much abuse. It ain't right.
I just started playing about 7 days ago. This video is great. You do a great job of giving examples and describing the advantage and disadvantages, as well as the risk based off of experience. I love it. I'm excited to get back at it. Thank you!
Awesome video! I have been doing this, basically, while doing my regular Boom and Zoom attacks,.......but, I have had SOOOOOO MANY pilots doing “head on attacks” I now know how to turn the tables on them!!! Thanks I’ve learned a lot from you over the years......I like they way teach!
So late comment here, but just wanted to say thank you for this series, it has helped me improve my fling in the 109 series a lot more then before. I used to freak out anytime I saw a spit or any other plane that could out do the 109 in many ways. So again thank you, got your self another sub🤙
Just by this video alone man, I subscribed and your going to be my Go-To. Because I like how you correct yourself and point out things that could result in failure. And re structure your point. Because what u said about the Pros is so true. Your not going to be able to copy every thing you see. So to know that your advice gives me a fall back if I fail the first attempt. I really like that about your video. So simple yet rare to find.
я просто хочу сказать спасибо, ты единственный кто наглядно показал мне тактику на этом самолете. I just want to say thank you, you're the only one who clearly showed me tactics on this plane.
i had lot of problems playing with 109 still stuck to the German tree cs i love their tech.....Green Fury is the only channel that has taught me the most.....my gameplay has improved. thank u :D
Really helpful tutorial. The new strategies seem pretty helpful. You also taught how to escape engagements and that is something I always struggled with
I’m not sure if you check your RUclips anymore, but man these videos are such a huge help to my gameplay. I didn’t understand why I was dying so much and turn speed and such, and always wondered how I was supposed to fight spitfires. This has made such a huge difference, I actually can play air battles and not get shit on constantly
damn bro, actual fighter tactics, and not just the maneuvers. thinking in terms of setting up kills, rather than chasing them makes a lot more sense to me
How to play german fighters: head on but dont shoot/ merge, then use your energy to climb up in a straight line and bnz. PS: when they try to turn when your on there 6 let them and climb again and then bnz. Also you dont have to merge only when you are at the same or under level of your enemy. If you are higher than just do the steps without merging
Man I need an informative video about the strengths of each nation's fighters and tactics, strategies, how to defend/attack etc. Especially for Sim battles it's crucial knowing these things.
Just subscribed. I play war wings on mobile.. but I'm sure this will be the same tactics for war wings as well. Great info and I enjoy watching you take flight and commanding the skies! Thanks for all the info!!!
thanks for the video it really helps.... i got so frustrated with the 109 before i read something : the 109 is only weak if you play into the strenghts of your opponents... i made a lot more kills since i adopted this strategy

i literally use this same technique, but against bombers. When it comes to fighters i kust try to gain altitude and dive to a one-chance oportunity to terminate its existence.But...well i will try this anytime soon
Wished Longshot would return but don't think that's happengin anytime soon. Need someone to follow to get better and you're going to have to do! LOL. Thanks for the vids!
This is good stuff for fighting new or beginner spitfire pilots but it won't work against good spit fire pilots. instead of swinging a 180 to turn after you after the merge, all the spit has to do is execute a split S turn and he will climb right up your tail pipe
@@biggusdickus6311 Nope! I've seen his other videos where he refers to this merge thing and it seems like something that is assumed to be common knowledge or self-evident. But not for me!
@@dhakagod from what I've learned, It is simply meeting the enemy head on(but not crashing on them)(It's up to you if you wanna shoot during head ons, but generally, good players usually shoot around 1.2km, then evade). It is a good opening maneuver for many tactics. Adamtheenginerd has a video of merges.
Another great vid. I just wanna say I think you should try shooting without zooming in. I never really liked the way it restricted your movement (or maybe it just reduces sensitivity?) so I never got comfortable with it. I notice just about every WT RUclipsr shooting short because of the zoom in. Staying zoomed out not only helps aiming when you get used to it but also keeps your awareness up since you can see more of your surroundings, as well as react faster since you don't have the restricted movements or have to hit a button to unzoom.
Green Fury once I got used to it, I stopped doing it for all nations and my hit percentage went up and it helps to prevent target fixation and promotes good situational awareness.
Hey love ya videos dude, been using this strat with lots of success - I was wondering though, if they keep on cruising and don't follow what would be the recommended move after that? Turn and follow them then BnZ from behind or just ignore them and find someone else?

Strange , normally a P47 kills you with one shot. Are you sure this is War Thunder?
@Drumslav Czechisenko not when you are shooting at them. B25s and B17s are indestructible when you are firing at them in a BF
