you can sort of tell the 109 knew what he was doing, he was sort of extending away after he got reversed. every dogfight ive had with my friend in a 109vsp51 matchup he would always pull me vertical, p51 simply cannot keep up with anything at 300 kph.
I don't think any planes been buffed in low tier USA as of recent other than the f8f being downtiered. US planes have always been really good for flight performance, it's just basically no-one knows how to properly fly them. In skilled hands any US fighter is as deadly as a Yak, Spitfire or Bf109
