Good idea, but it’s not cheap equipment, it’s improper use of equipment. That jack is designed for an emergency tire change, not a brake job. You should ALWAYS use jack stands for ANYTHING other than a quick emergency tire change on the side of the road where you don’t have a jack stand. ALWAYS!
Why save $$ doing your own brakes if you don’t know the safety standards? do you know it’s illegal if company’s don’t use jackstands? Whatever damage is done to your car it’s not worth a crushing injury bro
Buy a car dealership cost of $30,00 at least come with a decent jack when you blow a tire and at least a good enough tool won't strip over tight lug nuts nuts cross

This happened to me yesterday. But I put my tire behind the jack so the rotor didnt hit the ground.
Also I bought that same jack but I had to return it and get a different one.
Jacks stands and a jack so if one fails you’ll be safe good thing u weren’t changing oil
