Phenomenal playing as usual, though not taken for granted. Very much appreciated. Let's see: Aside from Yohan being born with "perfect pitch" and able to instantly execute on the keys whatever he hears, without mistake in the notes; aside from apparently being born with a natural Divine gift (from God, like Bach or Mozart, etc) of musical feeling and innate talent; I would surmise that Yohan has put in the required amount of hours (2-3 hrs or much more) of daily practice of scales, classical pieces, etc. to perfect technique, which enables him to be able to play the rhythms, articulation of passages, and at any speed he wishes from what he hears within himself; and Yohan has experimented with different electronic equipment and modification of their sounds to achieve the sounds he likes. What else have I missed? LOL.
Most important: Family support. Look at his studio - loaded with expensive high quality electronics, a fine piano and the stuff he needs to be what he is and to improve even more. A dad who makes these videos and shares them with us. If I had a fine superbly talented son like Yohan, I'd be showing him off too. And what's really great is that Yohan isn't just a shy music geek, he's a funny, sociable kid with a sense of humor which shows in his music and at his concerts with his amazingly talented friends. He doesn't seem to have a big ego or stage fright and is generous with his bandmates, giving them plenty of opportunity to show their own talents. No showing off, just having fun. Great parenting results in a kid who is able to reach his maximum potential and have a good life. Thanks, mom and dad. You sure did good. We love your kid and his many talents.
Kudos to your Dad for the excellent multi-cam work and and to you for the inspired rendition of Herbie's classic with your DAW. You guys just keep getting better and better!
I watched 5 videos and just became your FAN! You're great and unbelievable for your young age and musicality. Excellent job!!! We need more people like you in this World...
Gretchen Parlatos version of this track is one of the best. This is a close second. Love the changes in this one. Great tune, herby knocked it out of the park. Sick improv too bruv! Sounded great. The two chords at 1:48 ripped hard. Then the chromatic runs later. Ooooooooo boy. Love it.
I'm always amazed watching your soft, natural action on the keys, that gives you full dynamic control, correct timing and groove, speed and evenness; I just wonder how did you achieve such a spontaneity in playing!
J'aime beaucoup la musique que tu fais. J'apprends suffisamment sur l'improvisation et l'harmonie sur tes différentes interventions... Na sepeli makasi, kende liboso
Don't know where you got those drum shuffles but they sound exactly like the ones the late Jeff Porcaro used to invent when he played with hundreds of artists of all genres, including with his brother in the group Toto. If you want good ideas for ones to use in the future, check out Jeff's video drum lessons on YT. As a drummer yourself, I think you will appreciate the work of this amazing guy who died way too soon. One of the best in the world.
floyd taylor I love it. I have the 6. I gig with it. The thing I love most is that you can create any type of patch from any genre and history in time. From layering the stock sounds or from scratch

Do you realy like Fantom's sounds? I loved the interface and sequence concept of fantom g But the quality of keyboard and unstability of it, was critical for me Is there integration of it in DAW as Yamaha made ?
One of the best versions of Hancock tune, this young person has an amazing talent.

@Yohamkim, Play how deep is your love (Bee Gees) to us please. Guys, give it a thumbs up, like it here in the comment for him to see.
Sick!!
Amazing !
Ther is no speaker incorporated in this keyboard ?
오,, 사운드 좋다
Awesome
Is the backing track sequenced by the Fantom 8 or a DAW? If it's the former, I need this keyboard. 😉 Anyway, great version of Herbie's classic. Bravo.
Markus Arike at 0:52 you can see his computer screen, so perhaps there’s your answer
I believe he played that drum himself
everything he does is him. no sequence. he plays each part
He plays the keys assigned to drum sounds... Amazing to watch him in action... Check out some of his other videos.
Justin Haris Very cool :D
Thoughts on Roland fa06/08?
