  • It's been a decade since many of these motherboards have seen the light of day, so it's high time we pull them out and build something!
This was just preliminary testing, there may still be other problems with the boards that I'm not aware of yet. However, we've got a good idea of what we have, and what works.
What do you think I should build? Let me know in the comments below!

Oh man... When you open that plastic bin from the garage that is at the bottom of the stack, you know it is going to be a long weekend LOL.

If you do not correctly configure the dip switches on the Asus P599-B board, which is a SiS530, it will not automatically recognize the processor and this Dell P2 usually turns on directly if it does not have the front cable of the case.

Test them and repair them all then build them into something. And what about the rest of the computers? a lot of those would work well for 95 OSR2 or 98 SE. Definitely research all of the motherboards (esp the baby atx socket 7)
Its also possible that perhaps the ram stick was too large? if it was a 128 mb or 256 mb stick

P5A is a Super Socket 7 motherboard, not 370. You wouldn't be putting a Celeron into it. 😁

@@PatientXero607 I have a socket 7 Celeron 233, That's what I originally put in the board when I thought I killed it, but I probably just killed the CPU by sending the wrong voltage to it. Or at least it fit into the board, and the SLA number came back to a Celeron, though it's certainly possible I was wrong
