      Hi, I'm the same situation, cant do any movement that stresses the lower back due to surgeries. So what I do is pretty heavy split squats (max 8 reps) first then Bulgarian split squats (10-15 reps) in the same workout, followed by leg curls and leg extension. it works really well. Bulgarian variant is the least strenuous of the two of them
