The parfum is fantastic. This along with the aqua di gio Profumo solidified Armani as my favorite house. I’ve just recently purchased Rose D’Arabie from their Armani Privé line and it’s absolutely addictive.

I didn't know much about fragrance at the time, i would try 3 or 4 on and see how they wore down and then try a few more until i found something i liked. The dry down on A.Code is so very nice. I got the Profumo and it's a monster of a fragrance.

Yes you will get bored of it but that´s why people get 50+fragrances. Who eats hamburgers every day? Armani Code is a great fragrance. The one in this video is the old formulation... It´s a good signature scent. Dark, soft spicy, masculine, a bit mysterious and powdery, not too strong or soft and many girls love this stuff. Perfect for a date. 2-3 sprays is all you need.
I think perhaps you read the description of the redesignned 2023 version. The old curvy bottle you have in the video does not have those notes. The new 2023 cube-designed EdT does. Slip up?
Just a fun comment. I have a bottle of this from 2004 when it was called Armani black code. The bottle is still to the top hardly used and it was in a box for years that was forgotten. If you want me to send a decant for a review I’m happy to send one 😊. … from the sprays I’ve tried on test strip and arm it still smells like what I can remember.
Hi Aaron, I would love for you to do a review of Givenchy Very Irresistible Man. It's discontinued but hearing a perfumers take on it would be fantastic, maybe your own iteration in the future possibly? Not too many fragrances smell like it. Gourmand, hazelnut, mint, chocolate vibe. Let me know if you'd like a 10ml sample, I can get one to you via post.

I had this when it first came out years ago and it had a leather note, the bottle design was different as with the whole code line but i think they might of changed the fragrance itself because he didn’t mention that leather note but i did get bored with it lol i gave it to a mate
I had a free gift of this and tbh I couldn't see/smell what the fuss is all about, definitely wouldn't buy it. If you want fresh/ clean fragrance use guerlain vetiver, or floris elite. Marvellous frags that still stand the test of time.

is that the new bottle though? I feel like Aaron is sort of like describing a painting by telling us about the chemicals in the paint, I don't know how useful that is. ....but also we can't smell it on RUclips so.... I guess? In my mind, it smells like Johnson's Baby Power extract.
I was living in Perú for a while... the AMOUNT of plastic trash i saw out driving in the middle of nowhere... was SHOCKING. Disposable plastic is so far beyond what we see in Europe and United States. Its horrible.
A sad reminder to the old Code. The new rebooted line smells even more soapy and clean, sadly to the point of being literally just soap and nothing else.
Yup. I had a 2014 bottle that year and the I got a newer bottle years later, and it didn't smell as deep or complex. It was still good, just not as nuanced. I gotta try a recent formulation.

This actually lasts pretty good on me, I don't think I ever thought about is as bubble gum sweet lol but it is one of the best fragrances ever created

I wish Armani would re-release the original Black Code formula, it smelled great, lasted forever, and had very strong projection.

This is the old bottle and formulation. The new Armani code edt (2023) is refillable.

First fragrance I ever bought, still one of my favorites to this day, smells great and lasts a long time especially if you use the parfum

The vintage formulation from 2014 and prior is fantastic and long lasting.
