Gotta say the way you break down swing components into pieces and give tips on how to practice are second to none. The golf swing is simple in nature but fairly complicated (to execute correctly) at the same time and your presentation really helps bring things together. Another great video and look forward to future ones!
Chris, you are an amazing teacher of golf, I’m going right out to my golf studio and practice my golf extension, this will definitely help my overall swing, let’s hope I can keep my club face square during impact, that seems to be my biggest challenge
Loving this explanation of how to move from flexion / bending forward to moving into extension through impact. Belt buckle moves up, rotates and faces towards the target.
Thanks for pushing through the rain for another great training video. The explanation and the drills are always so helpful. Enjoyed the deer at the end too.
another great video, this is something i struggle with and i'll be trying these drills tomorrow. you have a great knack of making complicated moves seem so simple and obvious, thats the sign of a great teacher. I've been watching your video's for a few months now and i'm very impressed how informative they are, keep up the great work
This was brilliantly explained with sensible practice drills. Chris makes things very clear and incorporates logic and physics without being academic. No one else I've see can do this. I'm actually moving my arms fast from the top but I slow them down at waist high so the club head releases with incredible force. It's a little counter intuitive: the hands slow down the club head accelerates extremely fast.
Brilliant! This simplified a lot of things for me, especially hip mechanics of the swing through. Hopefully, this helps fix my chicken wing/elbow pull too. Thank you!!
Another great video Chris, as already mentioned by others the way you explain things is simple and easy to follow. I had the round of my life yesterday based on the drills you’ve posted. Sadly I had one bad hole which cost me the tournament but huge steps in the right direction!! 👍
Interesting. I think this is part of my driver issue. I had been bending my left elbow as it crosses my body. Keeping it straight has helped me get into extension and a much better ball strike…. Thanks
Love this video along with your video about lifting weight off your front foot to initiate the transition move to your front side and also your video about dropping arms down and back to initiate downswing .Wondering what changes other than setup you need to consider when swinging an iron vs a driver. Any comments would be appreciated.
Hi Chris, You had a super video a short time ago, which I loved, and it involved pulling an alignment stick out of the ground and also used an alignmet stick behind your left hip to check turn. Sadly, I can't find this video now. Can you remind me shich one it was. Many thanks, Gerry
Chris, first of all great video, I suspect this might be the problem that affects me from time to time… I have been told I have a great golf swing but the results I get from it are in general..crap… regarding this video I am struggling with understanding the idea of not lifting up the head yet extending the belt buckle… I believe I might be lifting up in order to get hands/arms through and this appears to cause either thin shots or fat ones when my timing is off and more mis hits off the toe of the club.. if not too much trouble could you clarify the idea of extending but not lifting?
it appears there is a hip shift left and lead shoulder movement down as the downswing is initiated. How important are these to help ensure a proper extension and clean ball contact?
I haven't seen the pull the stick with body drill. LOVE IT! I have been trying to cure this guys Chicken Arms swing for a long time, Today I will try this drill. Chicken arm cure I think.
I would love a lesson from you!!! 3 years golfing now was shooting 85-95 all summer last three weeks I’ve gone to shit and can’t get out of my own head 105-120 last few time idk wtffff to do

Love how you simplify a seemingly difficult concept. Great video.

Fabulous video. Have watched so many but never found one which explained this crucial phase with such clarity. Thanks.
Great video. Helped me to stop hitting fat shots and improve contact tremendously. The focus on extension was key for me.
I will keep this in mind during my mizuno irons fitting tomorrow. Epic 🦌 at the end.
Can always rely on the wildlife
Super video. most amateur golfers don't understand how to move the shoulders through the ball. Thanks.
Thanks so much

Swing past transition is quick, dynamic, & difficult to sm -oooooth. Very good discussion & break-down with drill-centric practices!
Excellent lesson Chris, I always get something from your videos. And that's some place of work you've got bud . Cheers
Thanks Dave, and yeah always nice to be out there on the course
Another awesome lesson with great drills.
Thank you Chris
Thanks
Always on the mark with a cure for what we need. Thanks CR.

Enjoyed the video, definitely something I need to work on. Also enjoyed the deer in the background.
Thanks Tommy
Forgive me, but what deer?
@@Bill-uo6cm Toward the end of the video (12:14 mark), 4 deer run across the fairway behind Chris. At least that's what it appears to be.
@@tommybritton9803 Thanks, let me look.
@@tommybritton9803 Yes!!! Four of them. I'm not sure why I needed to see them, but I did. Thanks.
Best instruction I've seen!!! Just the way you explain and Show! ;)
THANK YOU...
Thanks Willie
The best lesson ever ! It has a huge impact on my game . Many Thanks
Chris....what a great drill...thank you
What a clever drill !!!! Thats mad.
Pure Gold!
Great lesson ….. really helped me … thank you
Great video. I found I needed some Stenson head turn through the downswing to get this level of rotation.
Yes that can really help
This is the number one move I’m working on. Great video
Really excellent job
nice video, trying this on the range tom
Great video, very informative as usual
Thanks John
Great lesson again you come across very easy to understand thanks. 😀👍⛳️
Thanks Rich
Chris- real promise with this one! Thanks 🙏
The first 5 mins pretty much sums up my frustration at the driving range yesterday haha. Thanks for the tips! I learned a lot with this video
Thanks for the interesting video. The second drill looks a lot like S&T
Interesting. I think this is part of my driver issue. I had been bending my left elbow as it crosses my body. Keeping it straight has helped me get into extension and a much better ball strike…. Thanks
Like the drill.
Very helpful. Thank you.
Thanks
Great video, and as an added bonus, we get to see deer!!

first! Great vid. Working on getting less in-to-out right now and your videos have been very helpful.
Thanks Tyler great to hear and glad they have helped

Great video. But all your videos have helped me. Thanks
Another great video, thank you.
Thanks Paul
Brilliant
Just what I needed to get rid of my recent run of fat shots. Here’s Chris
Is it even a Chris Ryan video if there isn't wildlife in the background? Great video, excellent instruction, and incredible course!
Always some wildlife out there, maybe I should do a spin off channel all about the wildlife 🤣
Great instruction
Trousers might be a tad tight at the front!
I’ve no idea if it’ll work for me but the stick pulling concept is bloody brilliant!
Thanks John, I’d encourage you to try it as could really help
Excellent
Thanks
Chris I love the speed boat drill , but is it good for the driver ?
It is yes, works great with the driver
Golf should be made simple , that’s why I like your vlogs ,easy and not to complex ,great stuff

Would love to swing like that 😍
Just the once would suffice
Great video! Definitely something I need to work on. That drill is awesome! I hope no deer were harmed in the making of this video! LOL
Thanks. I think I have this issue...
Would you use this movement with driver
The drill at 8.25 a real eye opener 😉🏌️♂️😊
Best explanation of my old man syndrome I’ve yet seen. Super tip.

Hey Sam, if you lose it that quick you can get it back that quick too. Just try and do a reset, maybe take a break and come back fresh
@@ChrisRyanGolf i wish it that easy I’m a mental case on the course now
At 10:07 he says, "little backswing." my full backswing is pretty much what he does with a little backswing.
I was totally unaware of this move 😂. I only used my body to turn and wondered why I couldn't ever finish my swing
Stack & Tilt?
The deer though!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A must watch until the end, oh dear!
👏🏻
Strike the match.
Those deer in the background….majestic
I know aren’t they? Always out there and love seeing them
great teacher. love the content. that giant package is distracting though
That tree is like my golf game...Dead
🤣there are a few out there on the course
Am I the only one that noticed the deer?
Too much advertising time
