Another great tutorial! Just this morning I was working out how to make leaves fall from a tree in a realistic fashion with limited success. The use of the accumulate field node is what I needed -- Thank You!!!
very well and structured explained. Most geoN Tutorials are so overcomplicated but the Authors puts all in one video. These here are reduced by the necessary steps. Many Thx!
for those who have completed the geometry nodes but their leaves are still moving in a straight line outwards: using Blender 4.0, I had to uncheck "Normalize" on the Noise Texture node. this gave the leaves the flowy wavey movement
Ah I've been waiting for a channel like yours to really understand geometry nodes. I've often struggled to really get the concept of using vectors, if you could do a deep dive on something like an object using vectors to avoid the sides of a road as it moves for example I think you could really do a great job here.
You got a new subscriber ! very cool... also would be nice to see how you achieved the last shot with the orange trees, like the whole scene, super cool
hi~the tutorial is very nice, but how do I make those leaves coliide with something like ground or floor so they don't go through it? I was looking for some "collision setups" in geonodes, but they are all very massive, I only need leaves to stop moving once they reach surface (no bounce and other effects)
Amazing work ! I have a question. When I connect “simulation Zone” node, the object texture can't displasy. Do you have the same issue? My blender version is 4.0.2, you can get my file from this link:
Haveing the same issue :( can't even change the base color. Think this should solve it: ruclips.net/video/7KZldBdfzE4/видео.html Nevermind, didn't work. Ok now for real. He explains it in this other video: ruclips.net/video/m-_KTHVYync/видео.html minute 17:00
Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has had any trouble rendering the animation. I've tried rendering in cycles but the leaves are flickering in and out of existence. Any help would be very appreciated
That might have to do with motion blur. In my video about pruning objects I explain how to fix this glitching problem (with the set ID node). Let me know if that helps! :)
@@mtranimation A genuine wind effect on tree branches via simulation nodes would be fantastic, but thats a deep rabbit hole, if you start to include the physics of springiness, turbulence, size of branches, cross section of leaves etc. Not seen anyone attempt that publicly yet, Im sure many like myself are working on it!

This is awesome THANK YOU!
Love the ending animation keep up the good work
So nice this lecture sir
Very well sir
Thank you! Very interesting and informative tutorial. 😉👍
Thank you! Appreciate it very much :)
You are a very good teacher, thanks! I really like the clear explanations of each step/node.

Great tutorial, that's crazy how you come up with such beautiful results and manage to make it understandable and easy, thanks ;)
Thank you! I appreciate it very much :)
Amazing work bro! please make more cool effects from movies like previous one.
Wowwwwww.....🌟🌟🌟🌟🍾✌️

Thank you! :)
The one addition i’d make to this is to make particles follow curve path and adapt to said curve width and tilt 🤓
how would you do that?
Looks very nice if it is a final result on your Picture!
Thank you! :)
Thanks sir ! I also try this project

try to use a "set material" node right after the simulation zone to get the texture back@@cesarmendoza6986
It should work when you add a set material node after the simulation zone :)
How do you set the leaves to deleted after a certain time?
Hi.how to control thé leaf when it flouting??? Thank you

The leaves fly in the wind, but the wind doesn't affect the branches or the leaves on the branches.
True, that is because I wanted to focus on the flying effect in this video :)

hi
Hello! :)
