And I think you all just don't realize the harsh truths. The reality is that all of those things are _never_ going to happen. If he's coming on a stream for millions to watch while some skank belittles and mocks him for more than 0 seconds, he's already a lost cause and there's nothing anyone can do for him. Chances are he doesn't have any real friends that he listens to for counsel or advice which would slap some sense into him. He has no self-respect. Just like that girl has no self-respect. The only difference is he's respectful to others, whereas she is not. My respect only goes so far, and I would have already slapped her and unplugged the computer, among other things. But honestly I wouldn't have gotten to that point anyways lmao. Modding for a person with such low humanity, actual scum of the earth who treats people this horribly. And then actually flying out to meet her? Dawg if I had even clicked on one of her streams in the first place and saw what kind of person she was, I woulda clicked off and never looked back. Maybe that's just me. Maybe I'm built different. You guys need to have some respect for yourselves and outside of the bedroom, not let a woman hold you by a (metaphorical) leash or order you around/humiliate you. this is truly sad, I went through something similar in high school, where a girl I liked let me hang out with her and her friends at lunch time, and they all just started insulting me and making jokes, I feel for Dilly.

Because streamers like this only care about their followers, mods, and friends in the sense that they can exploit them. It happens all the time with IRL streamers, people just don't talk about it as much because those types tend to be obnoxious or have fanbases that are already terrible.

I mod for a few Twitch streamers with mods that are clearly in that parasocial relationship status, and I can totally see them being exactly like this. It's cringe every time I see them on stream, donating subs and bits trying to be the number one guy on the channel.
