Being a Hell’s Horses fan, I gotta appreciate our strange, "towed gun" tank. It not having a machine gun, flamer or small pulse laser for infantry does make the unconventional layout feel a little more accurate to how it may function.
Main issue with calling the Zorya's LBX5 40mm is how comical that is when the AC5 on the marauder is already 3 ahots of 120 and clustering just gets weird with an autocannon that's already a burst of many many 40mm shells.
I know Inner Sphere versions exist and likely the clans did later after the invasion. I seem to remember the clans not viewing vehicles as being important enough for omni tech given their lower warrior status so their original armour didn't feature the tech until 3058+. But of course correct me here, Battletech is friggin' vast :)
This TRO probably doesn't cover them. I know Kurita had a few like the Schiltron but the clans never seemed to go all in originally since they viewed armoured warfare as secondary to 'mechs.
They are probably so different to make sure you can tell them apart from Inner Sphere vehicles. It doesn't mean they are any better looking though, most are pretty weird I agree.
I felt that clan tanks should have a very futuristic look to them. Not something orks from 40K world slap together. Most of them look like they were designed by the periphery
Well....the Clans are weird. Just saying. And for most of them armored vehicles are afterthoughts and the crews are held in contempt by the Clan Mechwarriors. So Clan tanks being odd fits how little respect they have for them. Though if they met a Demollsher with an ace crew they'd quickly have second thoughts.
Ah my favorite tank from my favorite Nintendo game, Legend of Zorya: Windbreaker.
brrrrrttt

A very interesting vehicle... Beep beep, turret delivery!
It looks like they took an existing civilian tracked vehicle & added a turret trailer.
"like your mowing grass and kill people at the same time" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Best line in this video. Cracked me up 🤣🤣🤣
Zorya Armored Tractor
We got that today. It's called the CV-90. Modular assault vehicle in Europe.

Is that a gun in your trailer or are you happy to see Critical Rocket?
Omnivehicles do exist, there just aren't a ton.

@@CriticalRocket You will get to an omnivehicle soon in this very book
I think the Wolf Dragoons had a troop carrier before the Clan Invasion? It had omni-technology, but they didn't call it that at the time.
I believe it was the Badger? Something like that, it was basically built using clan design schematics retrofit for Inner Sphere tech capabilities.
OmniVehicles are a thing, and the trailer as the omnipod is a good idea. just need a fixed weapon to cover the front arc.

@@CriticalRocket The dragoon omnivehciles were all remakes of clan ones
Woo-hoo Story Time!!!!
Husqvarna could pull it off.
I just don't like these Clan tanks. Tanks look the way they do now for a reason.

@@boneshaman8912 The Marion Hegemony and the Taurian Concordat would like to have a word with you LOL
