my expectations/wishlist for Chapter 6: 1: The Storyline: Recent seasons have made the storyline feel like you're just some guy doing errands for the characters. Basicallly "Go pick that up, talk to this guy, defeat that other guy" etc. I'm hoping for Chapter 6 to have storyline quests where you feel like you are a part of the story. 2: The Island: I'm hoping we get a good amount of map changes each season. Not just like three pois being added at the start of each season, but also constant smaller map changes. (like the hut watch and the moving trucks in early chapter 2) Also for the map to feel more "alive", for example readding wildlife. 3: The Lootpool/The Gameplay: Chapter 6 is obviously gonna have a lot to live up to after Chapter 2. I'd prefer if they make a mixture of new weapons, Chapter 2 weapons and items, and others. 4: The Seasons and Live Events: Each season should have one specific theme and do their best to stick to that theme. collabs should be themed after the season (example: Homer simpson or something during a less serious season and characters like the gang from I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream during more serious seasons.) Live events should be done every other season. Example: Season 1: relatively chill season overall to make players used to the new map, then buildup to Season 2 during the last few weeks. Season 2: Lore heavy season, with live event at the end. Season 3: A little more intense but still somewhat chill season, with once again buildup. Season 4: VERY lore heavy season with intense map changes and lootpool, etc. with a live event that is actually a worthy finale to end the chapter, unlike certain other events we had... (cough cough... fracture... cough... cough...) The Graphics: Chapter 6 should have multiple graphic types. Type 1: Classic (Chapter 2 and 3-ish style) Type 2: Realistic (Chapter 4 and 5-ish style) But yeah thats about it Might update later idk
They need to clean up the lobby. Way too much clutter with the creator maps. And why is the list of Epic game modes not at the top? You have to scroll through like 20 rows of creator maps and go all the way to the very bottom to find Battle Royale which is annoying because 8/10 times when I open the game, it’s not on the mode I was playing before, and it puts me in some random playlist.
The Maya one is so real, thank God my Maya mostly looks fine aside from the pants. They also needed to do this with the brella in season 3 of chapter 2, cause mine looks like hot 💩. Hope when chapter 2 og comes around they have a Remixed Maya with the custom brella that you could actually customize more than once.
I agree with all of the statements mentioned in the video, I really hate bullet drop and hate how there are barely any traps in BR. But what I'd love to see come back is the pre-revamp movement animations. The new one used to look like you were drunk as hell, and imo it still does look that way. I just felt like the original looked way more lively and cartoony and less soulless and realistic like the new one.

I feel like chapter 6’s map should be an “amped up chapter 3” terrain wise, with a perfect blend between realistic and “cartoony” graphics. I want to feel the same feeling i felt when first stepping foot onto the new chapter 2 and 3 islands. That distinct vibe of fortnite was lost in chapter 4 in my opinion. There needs to be story-related POIS, and for the love of god i hope The Seven properly returns in some way. They could’ve atleast given them a proper ending rather than mysteriously writing them out of the story and not following back up on it for almost 2 years. All I want is for Donald Mustard’s story to be either completed or continued by Charlie Wen.

I don’t really care weather projectiles stay or leave, since both projectile and hitscan have different ups and downs. Projectile bullets make shooting more skill based rather than just pointing at someone 200 meters away and beaming them. Bloom also sucks because it’s RNG whether your shots shoot a circle around your target or not. I hate bloom with a passion and most hitscan weapons use bloom. The moment epic games put a first person scope on a hitscan weapon to reduce RNG based bloom, it was unbelievably OP so that can’t really happen. As I see it, it’s either we have bullet drop with skill based shooting through scopes that have no RNG, or hitscan weapons with RNG bloom.
Not here to start a whole war but I just expect more info to come out about the old passes coming back maybe a tease or something, it’s already been decided by the community feedback in the survey. I’m just just curious how they’re gonna pull it off.
I also feel like: 1. They should bring back old movement 2. They should bring back unique battle pass skins that really pop out and make you wear the skins 3. They should bring back more movement items back like bouncers, grapplers, launch pad, kinetic blades, shockwave hammers, or grappler gloves because movement is trash rn 4. No random storylines because for the past couple of chapters storylines have been off like I miss when we would find out every week that things would happen 5. Interactive Challenge that lets us have fun and find out more about the storylines and lets you have fun with your teammates 6. Better POIs because they have become less interesting and feel reused and not different 7. Crafting should again be unique like how it was in late chapter 2 I love how you could gather parts to sidegtade in your inventory or have upgrades benches 8. Adding back LTMs should make it to where they should be able to add and bring back old LTMs like they used to every week instead of solid gold every day or reusing old LTMs and reskinning them like the Midas and Ship It one 9. Changing the UI back to normal is great because it’s too complicated now and it’s kinda weird now 10. Incorporating players choices like they should do more they need to ask players what we want and not respond to us late and also making changes that are so unnecessary to the game like taking out controller aim assist and things that will effect other platforms and stop listening to pros all the time and take general criticism 11. Bring back colorful graphics because this chapter is so gloomy and I miss that chapter 4 and chapter 2 had sooo much color to it 12. BRING DONALD MUSTARD BACKKKK😭😭😭
It's crazy to me how they have butchered the UI since Chapter 2 like what the heck was wrong with being greeted with 3 Options STW, BR and Creative ? The Lobby UI, Locker UI and Item Shop UI are just unnecessary.

Maya and build a brella should get updated for og 2 so we can use all customizable options we unlocked from the challenges back in s2 s3. There was a bug a couple of seasons ago where you could select other options, but this was just visual, unfortunately

I don’t think ppl realise how much even just one trap adds to the game, supply drops have been completely mid all chapter but they added armoured walls back and suddenly I wanna go for every drop just so I can get some extra walls. I also wanna see new traps, whether it’s for damage or mobility it’s been far too long since we’ve had a new trap, but I doubt that will ever happen because zero build.
Well, for the weapons thing and saying that no one would choose one weapon over another, to be honest, I like the rifles or shotguns more when it comes to which weapons I prefer

Reload is proof they could make an awesome game, they could make a great map, they have a really good loot pool, but they just don’t want to do it for BR for some reason. And the main thing that pisses me off about the game now is how the creative maps are thrown around with all epic games modes. I’ve been playing Fortnite since chapter 1 season 3 and this chapter is the first time that I’ve actually consistently stopped playing… this whole chapter and their multiverse business model got pretty stale really fast.
Honestly, I genuinely think that the best way for epic do do chapter 6 would be to have it be set on the chapter 3 map but during the events of chapter 2 seasons 5, 6, 7 and 8. Chapter 2 og could have us go to the flip side to escape the flood and then chapter 6 serves as a prequel of sorts to chapter 3 and at the end of chapter 6 season 4, we would be ready for chapter 3 to return as we would be at the same point that chapter 3 originally started.
Thing that bothers me most about attachements is how epic needs to make a new gun/ gun redesign to support them because of bullet drop (Like the scar, combat ar or the handcannon) Like I don't see a way in which epic doesn't remove bullet drop without removing attachements and tbh the game already worked without them

3d background chapter 2 layout (make a extra tap for select gamemode for festival lego etc.) and make it like early chapter 2 gamemode selection and put a extra tab (more games) where you can find the creative games. Chapter 2 layout as in ch2 to ch4 because it looked more modern and add old movement back because i cant bare with these unsmooth clunky movement animations and bad strafing
Your Reload battle pass idea is fantastic. Give it to me as part of Crew (although I love Reload so I'd buy it separately anyway), and I'd complete it every season along with the BR one.
Not related but in horde rush to destroy the cube spawners (don’t know what they’re called) you need: Junk rift- 1 Ripsaw launcher- 3 Dynamite- 2 Cluster clingers- don’t even bother Chainsaw- chainsaw surf for a few seconds C4- 2 Explosive goo gun- 2-3 rounds Unibeam/mystical bomb- 1 1/2 or 1 then pickaxe (it get down to like 100 health)

I honestly want more seasons and by more I say 8 because its such a good amount since thats 2 years and you can really bond with the map and the changes arent drastical (they cant be cuz there wont be enough space for future seasons) I think 8 seasons could really make the game feel amazing, Chapter 3 had so much potential of being as good as Chapter 2, it was suppossed to be all of chapter 4's seasons but season 4 was suppossed to be Oathbounds and then Season 8 Paradise, I might have liked Chapter 3 more than 2 if this was reality but sandly isnt. For 8 seasons to work tho fortnite really has to work harder and be creative cuz adding just a bunch of things to the game without rethinking wont work the same since the seasons HAVE to be really fun for us to enjoy and not get bored which wouldnt be a really good if we are gonna be staying on the same map for 2y

The WORST chapter? That's bat-shit crazy bro. Player count projections debunk that right out the gate. Wrecked was amazing. Loved the marvel gameplay. Love seeing players cry about the things they don't like - and call it bad.
I’d also want the return of the proper locker that we had for 4 chapters and not this separated 5000 presets tedious chore of a locker we have. How this locker went past planning stage is beyond me it’s such a downgrade in convenience when past chapters you just press the preset and boom 1 click you are all set now it’s just all separated and you always forget to change something.
Yes, the old locker UI was so much better than what we have now. You should not have options for Instruments if you aren't playing Festival and your Car option should only show when you're playing Racing (the setup you have for your car in racing will automatically be applied to cars in BR).
if fortnite makes a reload battlepass they should do a battle royal and reload battlepass bundle for like 200-300 vbucks less then buying them seperate
I don’t think OG stuff should take up a spot in a chapter’s runtime. Chapter 5 has been really good and doesn’t deserve to be cut short because of nostalgia. OG events should be something between chapters. A nice 6 week nostalgia trip, and nothing more.
I think Epic could fix those by including them in the crew pack. I don’t see why they cost so much compared to the regular battle pass, especially when they give much less. But I think if players who supported the game through the crew received them for free with their monthly subscription they’d be a lot more successful.
Chapter 5 was great much better then 2,3 and 4, I hated chapter 2 probably because I’m an og and quit near season X/chapter 2 when everything got crazy
You get 1000 V-Bucks for getting to LVL 100, past that you get another 500. It's really weird hey changed that this Chapter. Really hope it doesn't carry over.

Well, for the weapons thing and saying that no one would choose one weapon over another, to be honest, I like the rifles or shotguns more when it comes to which weapons I prefer
His point with reload is exactly how I feel. Reload is proof they could make an awesome game, they could make a great map, they have a really good loot pool, but they just don’t want to do it for BR for some reason. And the main thing that pisses me off about the game now is how the creative maps are thrown around with all epic games modes. There should be a separate page for creative and the main lobby should just be for epic games modes, just like it used to be. They want to be like Roblox so bad and it’s just getting annoying

I personally enjoyed Ch2S7-Ch3S2 more, since Ch2S1 and 2 were both delayed for a stupid amount of time with no updates

I’ve been playing Fortnite since chapter 1 season 3 and this chapter is the first time that I’ve actually consistently stopped playing… this whole chapter and their multiverse business model got pretty stale really fast.

Honestly, I genuinely think that the best way for epic do do chapter 6 would be to have it be set on the chapter 3 map but during the events of chapter 2 seasons 5, 6, 7 and 8. Chapter 2 og could have us go to the flip side to escape the flood and then chapter 6 serves as a prequel of sorts to chapter 3 and at the end of chapter 6 season 4, we would be ready for chapter 3 to return as we would be at the same point that chapter 3 originally started.
Honestly, I wouldn’t even mind if chapter 7 was then the chapter 4 seasons happening on the chapter 3 map (like they were meant to)
Thing that bothers me most about attachements is how epic needs to make a new gun/ gun redesign to support them because of bullet drop
(Like the scar, combat ar or the handcannon)
Like I don't see a way in which epic doesn't remove bullet drop without removing attachements and tbh the game already worked without them

I just subscribed and I agree and the main things I want is hitscan return, traps, and the rarity difference in guns feeling important also I miss campfires as traps but I also want to see RPGs return in the lootpool because rocket riding is one of the most fortnite things you can do
3d background chapter 2 layout (make a extra tap for select gamemode for festival lego etc.) and make it like early chapter 2 gamemode selection and put a extra tab (more games) where you can find the creative games. Chapter 2 layout as in ch2 to ch4 because it looked more modern and add old movement back because i cant bare with these unsmooth clunky movement animations and bad strafing
Your Reload battle pass idea is fantastic. Give it to me as part of Crew (although I love Reload so I'd buy it separately anyway), and I'd complete it every season along with the BR one.
Not related but in horde rush to destroy the cube spawners (don’t know what they’re called) you need:
Junk rift- 1
Ripsaw launcher- 3
Dynamite- 2
Cluster clingers- don’t even bother
Chainsaw- chainsaw surf for a few seconds
C4- 2
Explosive goo gun- 2-3 rounds
Unibeam/mystical bomb- 1 1/2 or 1 then pickaxe (it get down to like 100 health)

Projectile weapons feel the same as hitscan to me. I honestly don’t know what the problem is - using the weapons feels the same.
It’s because most people are ass. I’ll take projectile over bloom any day of the week
I legit cannot tell you the difference between a striker, combat and enforcer AR from memory. Feels like the guns are so....bland with all of them being projectile based
i honestly drop legendaries for common or uncommon ranger pistols coz those things melt people fr. The guns are all so out of whack.

I honestly want more seasons and by more I say 8 because its such a good amount since thats 2 years and you can really bond with the map and the changes arent drastical (they cant be cuz there wont be enough space for future seasons) I think 8 seasons could really make the game feel amazing, Chapter 3 had so much potential of being as good as Chapter 2, it was suppossed to be all of chapter 4's seasons but season 4 was suppossed to be Oathbounds and then Season 8 Paradise, I might have liked Chapter 3 more than 2 if this was reality but sandly isnt. For 8 seasons to work tho fortnite really has to work harder and be creative cuz adding just a bunch of things to the game without rethinking wont work the same since the seasons HAVE to be really fun for us to enjoy and not get bored which wouldnt be a really good if we are gonna be staying on the same map for 2y

I’d also want the return of the proper locker that we had for 4 chapters and not this separated 5000 presets tedious chore of a locker we have. How this locker went past planning stage is beyond me it’s such a downgrade in convenience when past chapters you just press the preset and boom 1 click you are all set now it’s just all separated and you always forget to change something.
Yes, the old locker UI was so much better than what we have now. You should not have options for Instruments if you aren't playing Festival and your Car option should only show when you're playing Racing (the setup you have for your car in racing will automatically be applied to cars in BR).
if fortnite makes a reload battlepass they should do a battle royal and reload battlepass bundle for like 200-300 vbucks less then buying them seperate

I REALLY miss the sniper being in the game all the time. Every season that doesnt have snipers just feels empty to me.

I don’t think OG stuff should take up a spot in a chapter’s runtime. Chapter 5 has been really good and doesn’t deserve to be cut short because of nostalgia. OG events should be something between chapters. A nice 6 week nostalgia trip, and nothing more.

I think Epic could fix those by including them in the crew pack. I don’t see why they cost so much compared to the regular battle pass, especially when they give much less. But I think if players who supported the game through the crew received them for free with their monthly subscription they’d be a lot more successful.

Dear god, please no mini battle pass for Reload 😂 I love the little map changes, but I already have my attention split three ways with Battle Royale, LEGO, and Festival, and so another battle pass ONLY grindable through hyper-competitive (even in casuals) Reload would kill my interest in remix skins completely.
I have to stress, seasons is a lovely idea, but a battle pass would be lame

Maybe... I just don't know. I could see Reload seasons being a "one skin" pass like with LEGO or Festival, but a full 3-4 skins would be diabolical for most casual players, unless Reload seasons were more 3 months than 1. I know tons of people who choked and barely got past the first bit of Renegade Lynx's tiers just because their weeks couldn't line up right
