      Take a look at Patrick Roy and Broduer stats and then look at Hasek and then realize Hasek missed his first 7 years of his career because of political reasons. Just add 7 years worth of stats onto Hasek total and its not that close anymore

      Same here man! 😥 we have been so spoiled blessed here in Buffalo with goaltending now for so many years we have gone threw a drought .
      We so need someone to bring that excitement back to the key bank center. Going to the games now is so depressing us Buffalo fans do not attend like before I remember how loud the arena would get hoe exciting game day would be knowing you and the Buffalo Sabres will be at the arena Tonight!.
      Especially having the excitement of Rick Jennette announcing games now its all gone 😥

      A player was allowed to enter the crease if they had control of the puck. Hull kicks the puck up to his stick (a controlled move) and his left foot goes in the crease just before he slides it in.
      Perfectly good goal based on the rules that were in place at the time.

    Dominik biological father is Alois Kastanek , he got surname after his stepfather only after 10 years .His parents divorced when he was 2 years old.....Iam not sure if biological father was a nimer ,because Pardubice is not a mining area of former Czechoslovakia ,but its possible.btw..Hasek is common name in the Czech Republic ,but Kastanek is very rare...
    His half boirher Martin was a good soccer player and coaching top league team now.

    well .Hasek never won World Championship ,so He is not a triple gold club member..Mostly because Soviets were dominating when he was playing for Czechoslovakia .late 80s...,than when my country won Worlds three times in the row ( 1999- 2001 ) he was doing pretty good job in the NHL ....good video.,Thanks a lot

    He was the best goal in the world you going to take any goalie in his prime only if he came over when he was 20 imagine this if he played with a team that was fully loaded with fully loaded with weapons in front of him and defense protecting him who knows how many Stanley cups you would have had in your city in town to win the Lord Stanley.

    I think it'd be good idea to say that Nagano was not only of Hašek's, but the team's achievement - whole generation of players we in Czech Republic today call 'golden', as these were usually same players who got to win hattrick in 1999-2001 in world championship, very good result in Canada's cup in 2004 in semifinal, where they could possibly win the trophy and lastly 2005 world championship, during which NHL was stopped.
    Now some say that he's son of Chuck Norris, and that Tomáš Vokoun is Norris' grandchild... But Hašek for president? Now that's a proper good one :D

    I saw him play here in Chicago when he was a rookie. I fallowed him his entire career. I would rate him as the most innovative goalies to play the game. Also the most fun to watch. And without a doubt, one of the top 5 greatest goalies to ever play the game. He was the greatest goalie in the NHL in the late 1990's.

    The only thing controversial about Hulls goal, was how many people didn’t know the actual rule in place at the time and to this day.
    It was a good goal!

    • @sammyweed4771
      @sammyweed4771 3 года назад

      Nah they changed the rule after the series, at the time it should of been NO Goal.

    • @bigsteed007
      @bigsteed007 3 года назад

      @@sammyweed4771, that’s a convenient history that you’re making up.
      A player in control of the puck was allowed to enter the crease. Hull makes a controlled Move to kick the puck from his skates to his stick and then slid it in. Also a save from a goaltender or rebound off a post in which the puck comes back out of the crease did not cause a possession change. Hulls goal was scored after his first attempt was stopped and the rebound went to his skates. He was considered to still have possession and still be in control.
      And the only “rule change” they made was to no longer call goals back because a player not directly involved may have had a toe in the crease (no harm, no foul rule)
