How a kid in poverty became a top 5 goalie
Macinnis got screwed so many time on winning the Norris trophy his shot was so bloody that he actually broke several players ankles on the other teams he even fired shots so hard that the pucks went throw boards and glass thank god no fans were hurt but just bloody shock the went that hard 😂
Sorry Gretz...GREATEST 2 way player EVER !!
Joey Kocur’s name is pronounced - Joey “ KO-SIR “ ( not Kosher wtf ? ) . Do all you yids just copy stuff for profit while having not a fugging clue what you are really talking about ?
in 91' my Dad ran into the Russian team when they were shopping, he had enough Russian to talk to the Coach. They were goin ballistic over game consoles and other stuff in the mall they could buy and smuggle back to Russia. We then saw Fedorov play against Canada and I will never forget it; I didn't know someone could move that fast, it was simply unreal for a kid like me. There were stories of how the Russians trained, skating around the rink with cement blocks behind them to build strength and speed.
Top player!🤘
screw hof, he's my favorite player of all time
Osgood's stats are better than Fuhrs, and the team in front of him wasn't any better than the Oilers of those years, yet Ozzie still gets the shaft.
As a lifelong Devil's fan I respect what he did for us and his power. That Kariya hit was so late and unnecessary. He ended that man's career. He doesn't even remember the goal 😢
#HappyBoolin
The man
He needs to be inducted into the HOF. He has way better stats than Fuhr who is referred to by some as the GOAT.
I had no idea, I am glad things worked out for him... he deserved his success
Foppa is a legend
Bro… Bure, Sergei and Mogilney on the same…. Line
GOAT
He was very lucky to have Fedorov and later Datsyk.Without them he would be just another great and loyal player.Detroit never give credit to Russians. When Pavel leave playoffs become mission impossible.
I met Mike a couple times. He was so tall!
The New Jersey Devils had such a stout defence. I remember reading in the Hockey News of the number of shots on Martin Brodeur in particular games--under twenty sometimes.
Thank you for bringing up the cheap hit on Adam Foote. Nobody usually brings it up that those dirty, cheating Red Wings started all that shit with a cowardly play
Miss those Ozzie chants at the joe
when asked of his favorite swedish player, gretsky choose z
Fuck Chris Chelios for what he did to Brian Propp
Great intro man!!
No arguments here. Joe is a class act through and through. I've only even had one problem with Joe Sakic! He never played for my Flyers! 😜 And yes....in hindsight, which is often 20/20, the Flyers should have kept Forsberg and let Lindros go to the Rangers....lol. Flyers likely would've won a cup in the 90s had they. But....such is life. Peter eventually came home but, a little too late.....lol. . So.... living in Phoenix and heartbroken the Coyotes got ran outta town.... Will Utah repeat the Quebec/Colorado first year cup? I know my Flyers ain't winning it this year. Not sure if I would be happy for the former Yotes (Yeti.... horrible name for an NHL club) or pissed off! Probably the later!
I miss this man. I lived in the Soo on the American side across from Soo, Ontario and he loved to drink and fight even then. Back then the bars in Canada closed down at 8 pm and you couldn't buy alcohol anywhere after that unless you came across the river to Sault Ste Marie Michigan where you could buy duty free alcohol and the bars didn't shut the doors until 2:30 am. Probert was a regular in n the bars and he was really quite funny when he was ripped to shit.
Beautiful 🔥
The G.O.A.T!!!!!
Betrayed CSKA, betrayed Red Wings...
Who had more knock outs, Mike Tyson or Scott Stevens?
Certain aspects of the game, he's arguably goat.
It’s Foppa! Peter the Great doesn’t sit well with us Swedes, look him up and you’ll understand😅
Russofobia is everywhere now. Propaganda works...
@@peterojala5948Don't be stupid
@ No phobia here in Sweden, we’ve figured you out a long time ago.
Love your videos!
Absolutle one of the all greatest player have played in NHL.
The greatest captain in NHL history. The number 19 will ALWAYS be his
How/why did opposing teams not change their offence against him. It’s like seeing a great white and still paddling out to surf the wave.
Detroit also drafted Stu Grimson in 83.
A dirty cheap-shot artist who only appeals to the LCD.
1993 will never be matched in playoff awesomeness
stevens was a punk and a cheap shot scumbag. Probert kicked his ass.
legend
Watched his career saw him play at Madison Square garden. Tough sob. Dont repeat dont carry the puck with your head down he woulld knock you into next week
Not a dirty player at all and im a leafs fan and i remember when he took out Lindros. Scott was just a heavy hitter and played his game very well.
Stevens couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. He was amazing at blind side hits to the head though.
@1:49.. thats a completely different Chris Osgood, btw, lmfao..
Him and Ray Bourque would be my top 2 pairing. And if one of them got injured than I'd place Lindstrom in there.
Summers must be brutal cold in Kitchener if you can train at the outdoor rink after work.
He blindsided players regularly. That's a coward move.
Best checker and hitter the game has seen - Everybody hated to play him, but everybody would have loved to have him
