When Orr played it was so different. I'm not saying that Orr wasn't good, but if you had some skill, the gap between yourself and the rest was much.. MUCH.. bigger. It was easier to be a super star.
He is the best defenseman that ever played . In the NHL. He is the perfect human. You couldn't ask to be on any team in the NHL or any City a lot of teams passed Nicholas Lindstrom.. good wherever he went.. what team he played for in the NHL. Number .5 you're the best in my era 20 years of hockey in the NHL. You're the best ❤️. The heart of loving hockey. Keep it going bro
Adding to the number of regular season games he missed: Most of them was missed because the head coach would rest him for the last couple of games before the playoffs almost every year, so he'd be fresh for the playoffs. So he missed less than 20 games to injury throughout his entire career.
Dude; these presentations are some of the best ice hockey documentaries ive ever seen. I put them on during work and just listened to the audio. These were so well done; you dont even need to see whats on screen to experience it. Well done, man. These are brilliant. Once I get my first paycheck at my new job; ill throw some money qt the channel. These are just too good. Take iy easy, dude.
Slight correction, although it may have been true at the time. He’s not a scout for the Wings. He’s the Vice President of Hockey Operations. 2nd in command only to his former captain.
He is the best defense of all-time & im sure I'll get some hate, but it's not close. It's ridiculous that we got Lidstrom, Fedorov & Konstantinov in the same draft & none before the 3rd round 🤯.
Nice piece. Pronouncing some of the Swedish towns is hard. Also, I think mentioning the most important team mate is missing here. Lidström and Holmström are friends off the ice, and they played a very efficient power play over many years in Detroit. You should have mentioned Holmström. How about a piece about him?
Thanks for the feedback! To be honest, the sound quality has improved since the first episode. I'll have to upgrade my hardware eventually, though. Are you watching with headphones, if I may ask?
@@KetaProductions Always with headphones, it's obviously a learning curve and I'm sure time is all you need to get better at it. I mean, it's not like I can do better so cheers my man. I'll stick around for sure
He's the best defenseman ever, Orr was a 4th forward out there

So glad I got to watch him play with yzerman and company, in the hay day of great red wings teams

Well done presentation, and a nice little nugget of wisdom at the end lol
I love that man,a true gentleman both on and off ice.

Great point! It always amazes me to see that stat
@@KetaProductions Excellent video btw :D
Thanks 😊 I had lots of fun talking about him!

Wow thanks for the raving review! I'm glad you're finding good value in the videos. I'm grateful for your support and congrats on the new job!
OMG it’s insane that Lidstrom andFederov weren’t first round picks but in the 4th and 5th.
insane oversights by a lot of teams but good for Detroit

The best ever
Love this episode. One of the best!
Thanks for the comment!
incredible defensemen and one of the small handful of defensemen to score 30 goals or more in a season
Joe sakic said Lindstrom was the toughest player he ever played against ,,that says alot ..
Sakic is one of the more credible players. I'd buy what he's selling any day!

Datsyuk? Also Jagr vid was great! Keep up the good work
Thanks! Yeah, Datsyuk would be a good episode!
@@KetaProductions would definitely enjoy this one too

Good idea. I'll add him to my list!
The perfect specimen, aka RP.
RP, synonymous with perfection.
Do Pavel Datsyuk
Agreed :)
Ekblad's Canadian I believe.
You're right. Ekblad looked up to Lidstrom.
Lidström played for Västerås in Sweden, pronounced Westeros! Is he the prince that was promised?
AH-HA! So that's where Yzerman got his information on Seider...but Yzerman knows stuff anyway.
Yeah haha talk about knowing the best defenseman to select. He only got to play with one of the best!
That's not a picture of Krylbo >:o It's Ängelsberg
Solid episode, you might wanna check the sound quality of the voice, the EQ felt a bit off for me.

Thanks for the support! I'll definitely play around with the EQ options for the next episode. I'll see what I can do 👍
The wings were an absolute machine and its a shame to see them in their current state, trust the Yzerplan boys 🙏🏼
