We joke, but Nick Lidstrom is just the epitome of CLASS!We've been been so fortunate in Detroit as Our Greats such as Howe,Lindsay,Yzerman, and Lidstrom were not just Great Players on the ice but represented Detroit so well off the ice to!
I can't remember how many times I saw a 2 on 1 rush begin against the Wings but would see the 1 was Lidstrom. How he could shut down 2 players on his own was amazing. So happy he is back with the Red Wings as VP of hockey operations.
Still watch that half ice shot Nick put past Vancouver's Dan Cloutier. It was the turning point of the 2002 playoffs (long range knuckler) with under 30 seconds in the second period.
No he's not LOL and he can make fun or poke at anyone.. they're friends 🙄.. how in the HELL are you going to have the audacity to try to get on one guy for having fun with his buddies in a joking matter??!.. you don't know his life and the relationships they have with each other.. he could do or say wtf he wants!.. he's built that up for himself.. just stay in your lane 😄
Osgood is among the all time best in wins. He has 3 cups and 2 of those he started on teams to win. He would have won the Conn Smythe in 2009 but the Wings lost the series against Pittsburgh. You could make the case that Ozzie was better toward the end of his career than the start but he was most certainly not mediocre.

Watching Roy throw his stick in the replay is so funny.
As a Dallas Stars fan, I respected Lidstrom as much as I respected Zubov. Phenomenal hockey player, hall of famer…

Nick Lidstrom was 31 when he won his 1st Norris Trophy, and ended up winning 7 of them.

Cloutier was a beer league plug
Funny thing he did it again 6 years later vs Nashville and Dan Ellis.

1:15 Osgood was a mediocre goalie and he is poking fun at Murphy who is in the HOF
