I was born in 1957, I'm a baby 👶 boomer. The post war was when I was growing up. At age 65 I enjoy searching flea markets, qntiqe stores, garage sales, gift stores, trying to add to my collection, I also look for different ways to display them not just on Christmas trees. I put them in glass bowls, baskets, glass jars with lids & candy dishes & gumball machines. Vintage are getting harder to fins. Thank you for information on these pretty baubles. 😍
Informative. So no more Premier designs after 1955; and one of the partners started Paragon in Maine. Fascinating, Paragon seemed to get their blanks from Corning, no? Also, I need to know more abt Cobe Glass Products. They appeared to get blanks from Corning too, but had exclusive designs from them, like the Santa figural ornament, the tree, and the rare clown shape.
Thanks for watching. I'm working on a Coby Glass video for the fall. Can you email me at booksbyjody2021@gmail.com with pictures of the santa figural, tree, and clown. I'm trying to place them on the timeline of shapes.
can't wait to buy your book, great info. can you tell me about your silver tree, I have the same one and can't find a stand! many thanks, for your hard work and knowlege
Colleen, I have three silver trees in varying sizes. The mid sized in this video came from Walmart. My large one, shown at the closing of the first two videos was purchased from Vermont Country Store. I hope you find a stand.
Julio, oblong with tinsel, super find, what color? Big news, in the last month I've been talking with a descendant of the Premier story. We are working together to fix the company dates to 1921-1955 or 1921-1957. I 'm excited to make a new video with updated content. Thanks for buying my book. Jody
@@jodypritzl8250 I got a 3" oblong the top half is red and the bottom half is green..the green faded a bit...It's smaller than the one in this video...
The oblong yellow hand painted is likely 1940 as are the reflectors. The transparents likely 1942-1945. I appreciate the question and thanks for watching.
Thank you Jody for sharing excellent information! I like your straight up no nonsense style.
Thank you for your kindness. Providing good content, and a sprinkle of whimsy, is something I take seriously.

I also put the baubles in bowls for display. A candelabra works well for displaying tree toppers. Glad you enjoyed the videos. Happy New Year.

Thanks for the tip.
The ornaments are gorgeous. The Premier Glass are in great condition.
Premiers are becoming more popular because they are beautiful. And technically, some pre-date Corning Glass blown bulbs.
I thought of you when I found this helpful background video of how glass ornaments started!
Mara, can you copy the link for the video so I can watch? Or email me at booksbyjody2021@gmail.com. Merry Christmas

I THOUGHT so on the bells when I saw the seam! Of course the cap just says Made in US OF A.
Hello! Great video. Quick question: the unsilvered ornaments that you hang up, are those produced during WW2? Happy holidays and stay stay safe.
