Thanks for doing the crinoline tutorial! I ended up using it for my Bouquet Hanayo set from Love Live and it worked a treat for the petticoat that was doing nothing for the skirt (despite its best efforts!) Between you and Sarah Spaceman you deliver the right tutorials just in time!
Watching this knowing that the project is finished and very beautiful :) Contouring would probably help keep the shoulders from falling down quite so easily. I have made a simillar dress (though not as extreme in proportions as this😆) and countoring the neckline made the shoulders stay up for me.
Full tights are a lifesaver! I do love me some bloomers as well to cover the bits, but when it's hot as hell where ever you're cosplaying shorts can make it worse. My thighs chafe in the heat so bloomers or shorts work well for me.
The design makes no sense because ecchi game rules and h*rny brain design- but that's part of the appeal of Dress Up Darling. Cosplay is the pain of trying to make IRL things that were designed by people who've never touched a sewing machine in their lives XD (sometimes it feels like the chara designer has never worn real clothes in their lives either!)
Ok 100% do agree the skirt makes you look very leggy 🦵 and the tights 👩🍳😘 Did you make your petticoat or is this one that you bought? Uhh yeah that’s why I’m not signed into Google on my phone and I’m on the private set in safari cause…sometimes you search weird things 😂 Some platform shoes with this would look so good too! As far as the sleeve issue I have heard some people will put like hanger loops in the shoulder area but use them to tie up the sleeves, like add a little ribbon or something up into the sleeve so when you need to you can put them up out of the way. Sewing goals is to eventually have a block for myself when you had just the top on I was like wow that fabric makes such a difference and it looks great!
The ruffles, the overall shape, the sleeves, everything about this is amazing! Another fantastic cosplay.
Awww thank you hun!

Glad it was helpful! I am glad it helped someone when it didn’t help me for this project lol

Awww thanks for much!
omg its adorable and i love itt
Thank you!
It looks so good kirilee! I have a question about the skirt, did you attach all the layers together and put the zipper in or was it all seperate?
It is all attached together into the one waistband to reduce bulk :) the top layer is the only one the zipper is attached to

Thanks! The petticoat is one that I made using three pre-bought petticoats. So 50/50 :)
WOHOO
Hope you liked it!
