OMG… THIS IS MAGICAL!!! I am a truck driver, and these last few years, I was transformed into a living “bobble head”. Having to turn my whole body around because I became so tight from the neck down. I have been doing these stretches for just a week, and it was like the ball and chain came off. I was backing up my truck, and was amazed at the range of motion I have. I’m so happy I found this routine.. dude… you are awesome. Im sure you get success stories like this all the time. I now follow all of your stretch routines and mix it up. Thanks bro!!!

It always helps to hear where you're supposed to feel the stretch. Often being stiff in other places makes the correct position difficult to get into and you can't feel anything. Knowing where the stretch is aimed at makes it easier to adjust the position until you feel something.
    In my case anyways.
    Thank you for these videos!

So thankful to have found this video/channel…I’m 51, overweight and have chronic back issues (SI dysfunction also) and I do yoga and am trying to lose weight but got stuck in a cycle of hurting myself and giving up. I finally saw a good physical therapist and now approach movement differently (comes down to consistency and just keep moving). I take my time doing these and make adjustments as needed and already I’m seeing results (2 weeks in) in terms of flexibility with the added bonus of less pain…just wanted to say thank you for making these available and your gentle approach.

These all felt like stretches I need to do every day, maybe even twice... I've spent 20 years learning how to hold my body upright under load, with zero emphasis on making it able to move freely afterwards... Time to fix some of that... Thanks for leading us through these!

I want bore you, but, I have an extensive history of trauma from bad breaks, over my whole body, and I spent years lifting without proper stretching (I know....), plus I was in the infantry, and am a groundworker..basically, terrible combination. I have been getting up early and doing half hour routines for 3 days now...only just the very beginning of my journey, but...I'm sticking with you, and you're my little morning friend who I get excited to see! LOVE your work, spirit and mind. Thanks SO much for taking the time and love to do these. Love from England!

it is nice that you make pauses before and after the exercise as well as enjoy the stretch a bit longer yourself. translates some of that joy you experience. In this routine you focus on the most relevant parts but a full-body stretch might also be a hit.

A+ routine! My prior physical therapist laughed at how tight my hips and thighs were, and these stretches address all the problem areas he identified but all felt like better modifications than the ones he gave me. These were really deep stretches into the problem areas I have, which was nice because I often had trouble getting the stretch in the areas my PT identified BECAUSE the limitations in mobility I've been dealing with. It was discouraging that the problem prevented the stretch that would correct it, but these seem like they were all good work arounds as I felt the stretch right where I needed to. This seems like the ideal routine for anyone who sits long hours at their job like I do. I'll keep doing this one, thanks!

@@Strengthside I'm decently strong, I got 300 on the bench after repping 275 3x a couple weeks ago, but I never feel "good". I always feel tight, stiff. I've been trying Qigong, Yoga never really sticks, etc. I hadn't thought much about totally changing my approach to strength training, and I feel like your method might be exactly what I need. I'd rather be long, lean, flexible, and feel good, than stiff and bulky and able to say I can bench 300 lbs. Glad I stumbled on your channel. Going to start your workouts tonight man!

I really enjoyed this video. Guiding patience for beginner stretching is fairly necessary. As I myself am working to expand my mobility out of a more rigor mortis state, from being laid up with an injury, I noticed I couldn't move directly into the one-leg-kneeling/one-leg-straight stretch without my back being stretched out first. I notice I had to pause the video and do some cat-cows and something else to proceed. The lunge stretch you performed further in the video was more friendly with my tight back to begin with. If my lower back and waist wasn't so tight, your sequence may have worked. I just imagine that a good portion of stiff people may encounter this obstacle. I love your videos though and you and Trevor are inspiring and transforming my life.

I’m really getting into your routines these past few weeks and... liking it! I typically have a good yin/yang balance and i realised that all the yoga routines i’ve followed in past couple years are taught by women, so it is good to have a bit of male role model too.
I appreciate how you give credit to other teachers in your videos, decent attitude!
And it’s amusing, in a sweet way, how you correct your over-accommodating expressions to more accurate indicators (e.g., from ‘more or less 90 degrees to... 90!) :-)

This is awesome! I've just discovered your channel. I'm in my 50s and used to dance professionally in my late teens. I was quite flexible until a serious motorcycle accident seven years ago. I've spent years just recovering mobility in my left leg, and in the process I realize that I have lost a great deal of flexibility. I tried your 10-minute routine tonight and it worked really well (aside from pain in my left knee, but I'm going to use a cushion next time: what did I think?). My husband, who's really tight as most men are, loved it - though he has a long way to go, despite years of martial arts. Looking forward to trying out more exercises. It's a great complement to at-home pilates, and great fun for a change. It's also a chance to spend more time exercising together, which is always fun. So thanks for sharing all these tips!

Fantastic video. Thanks. You're doing a fine job there. BTW...like the yellow broom and the little red bicycle...it makes the picture "whole"...photographically speaking

These videos have helped me tremendously Josh. Thank you for posting. Question: How can I improve my squat position so I can do them flat footed, as opposed to with my heels elevated?
