Many thanks from France. I'm 48, tennis coach and i'm using all your exercices every day since this summer. For me first, i wanna live my entire body, i wanna feel free with my every movements, i wanna feel flexibility, fluidity. That was not the case , i've come to a point in my life where i was feeling sadness every day, being older and older, suffering my body and every thing around , food , people, modern life etc etc .... i've found you and you gave me inspiration. Not only by giving us some excellent drills but by your reflection on life, our way of being, of breathing , of contemplating things around with a coffee cup in the hand. Thank you Josh, being a master in something and share it is not a common thing in modern life. I let you know around how i'm getting and feeling better every day ..
Thank you for sharing!!! I'm also grateful finding Josh. I click with his energy and life philosophy. I've been doing this stretch every morning for 2 weeks after my meditation and noticing how I walk differently, move differently. Great stuff. All the best.
Holy Cow, I'm so grateful to have just discovered you! I am STILL recovering from lumbar surgery after 2.5 years, and staving off degeneration in my left hip... I've lost so much of the strength and vitality I had before the back injury. My body is stiff as a board and full of massive pain. I am also demoralized to be 10-15 pounds heavier than I'd prefer. Feeling old (only 62!), wiped out, and frustrated. I just did my best version of this routine and actually did better than I'd expected, and feel SO much better already. This might be a game-changer for me... slow and steady. So grateful! Witnessing the incredible functionality in your body is an excellent model and motivator. Thank you for your devotion and hard work!

Have been doing this for one week since 1st August- hope I can emulate the people further down in the comments section to continue this journey for many months and years! Thanks Josh :)
I've been listing consistently lifting weights for about 1.5 years now and I've definitely began to notice how stiff and in pain I am afterwards. This is definitely helping. Thank you!
I was recommended this. 35 year old and with sore lumbar and right shoulder. Rarely stretched my whole life. Barely exercised. Smoked for 20 years (quit almost a month ago) and I feel better already from one session. Going to do this everyday. This routine shouldn't make my heart race and make me feel out of breath. Once I get to the point I don't feel that way anymore ill move on to something more intensive.
"Stretching can be a little boring and dry." Not for me. I got 2 slipped epethisyses and no cartilage in one knee in addition to a bunch of Martial Arts injuries. Stretching for me is like a trip to Guantanamo Bay.
Janice - Hello, Hey! I've been practicing a daily stretching routine for 40 some years now (on and off, because...life!) that I created for myself when just an adolescent. Very simple, hitting all the joints, 15-20 min, very basic. I did, and continue to do it enough overall, to have a positive affect. I cannot tell you how it has saved my muscles and joints through the years. Flexibility, strength, and balance are what we all need to keep as we get older, and stretching is such an important component in that practice. My favorite color is dark purple 💜
Ever since man, woman, have been on the planet, we and all animals have had to rid our bodies of excrement. Until we started sitting on a toilet we had to squat. So why did we give up maybe the most important physical body movement? Good on you for bringing it back to popularity. When I squat I try to bring each arm to vertical, it also stretches the shoulders, and the balance is great. Be well all.
Wow, this was very fun, somewhat challenging for me, and extremely fulfilling. I did this after a workout because this was a recommended video, and it’s just what I needed. I’m feeling very blue now - not peaceful but serene, like my favorite color.
Black and blue...oddly enough! Thank you so much for taking the time to put your work out there so we can all benefit from it. Especially because you are doing it FOR FREE!!! I hope it comes back to you 1000 times over.
I’m doing extremely extensive training for military and i have serious lower back pain and naturally tight hamstrings and really need to find a daily routine. This is a great place to start. Thank you
This video has come at just the right time as I needed something to start my day other than rushing to the gym to do a class. With schools in the UK shutting down and parents having to home school my aim is to incorporate this routine into our morning schedule ahead of the school work. This along with some breathing exercises I hope will channel the positivity in our house at this trying time. Thanks for sharing. Green - as I look into the fields outside.
I’m back after a year or more but 6 months into doing these exercises I had close to no back pain im very grateful for this video and the simplicity of it I did this workout with 3/4 times a week
Blue - thanks for posting! I'm going to adopt some of this into my daily routine. Also passing this along to my son, who is a football player that focuses too much on strength & not enough on maintaining flexibility.
"Why! Yes i do!" gets me every time. Green! This is my daily practice now in the morning under the sun after my meditation. Thank you for this! Perfect habit to add during quarantine in Barcelona.
As a 29 y old guy that cares about his nutrition and fitness a decent amount, one thing I have ALWAYS ignored is my mobility and it's TERRIBLE Gonna use this to get fit
Im revisiting this video after 2 years First, you have no idea how many people you helped through the pandemic, and personally i want to say thank you, you gave the opportunity to a lot of people to gain mentak health and physical health And second, i never considered how important movement and flexibility is for our general health, so this stretches and movements should be part of a regular workout routine

3:16 - I don't recommend this stretch to anyone, ever. Your knee was in pain bc you put all your weight on it...you can achieve the same thing on your side. No pressure. No pain. More gain.
Facts. Even when I used padding under my knee, that position hurt. You can also just keep your foot off the ground and continue to cue posterior pelvic tilt and it will stretch the hip without destroying your knee.
Anyone having sort of elbow pain when doing the "lounge chair"? Got straight to me and didnt really feel the shoulder stretching... beside that great vid man!
This happened for me too, fixed by putting the pressure in lats i.e. focus on keeping scapula back and down, you may also be experiencing the bicep on stretch. Can you try again and let us know what you think?

Ever since man, woman, have been on the planet, we and all animals have had to rid our bodies of excrement. Until we started sitting on a toilet we had to squat. So why did we give up maybe the most important physical body movement? Good on you for bringing it back to popularity. When I squat I try to bring each arm to vertical, it also stretches the shoulders, and the balance is great. Be well all.
@@brucecarlson631 Yes, exactly. 💜💜
Man Josh your channel has been one of the best things I’ve found during this lockdown. Thanks for keeping me sane and centered.
I appreciate that bro!
This is awesome! I've been doing these a few days and already feel better. Thank you!
You are the only one who I can listen to while stretching! Every word in the right moment!
That's so 💯 true... He's amazing.... Even his stories while explaining!
Was feeling so stiff before this, now I’m feeling great! Ty for your routine.
I decided to do this every day and I feel so great. Swimming in cold water every week too - pain in all areas better.
purple- I loved this stretch it really helps me feel better after sitting at a desk all day
Blue - thanks for posting! I'm going to adopt some of this into my daily routine. Also passing this along to my son, who is a football player that focuses too much on strength & not enough on maintaining flexibility.
I rarely do any stretching. And doing this routine was definitely hard.
I love blue. It’s an amazing color. Thanks for your words and exercises. I’m learning!
"Why! Yes i do!" gets me every time.
Green!
This is my daily practice now in the morning under the sun after my meditation. Thank you for this! Perfect habit to add during quarantine in Barcelona.
Color: cyan!
This is a wonderful morning stretch for me since I started ! Thanks a bunch!
As a 29 y old guy that cares about his nutrition and fitness a decent amount, one thing I have ALWAYS ignored is my mobility and it's TERRIBLE
Gonna use this to get fit
I'm 29 year old too but I never ignored flexibility and mobility along with nutrition and fitness
@@AK-ef4cz weird flex but ok
@@eliiikb5141 go back to work....
Keep moving your joints....the body is created for motion.
Im revisiting this video after 2 years
First, you have no idea how many people you helped through the pandemic, and personally i want to say thank you, you gave the opportunity to a lot of people to gain mentak health and physical health
And second, i never considered how important movement and flexibility is for our general health, so this stretches and movements should be part of a regular workout routine
Fav color: blue! Love this stretch routine. Not only promote physical well-being, but also mentally enriching 🔥 love it
no favorite color just thank you. i feel so much better after doing a lot of your stretches and strengthening exercises for the past few week.s
My favourite colour is yellow, and I'm 28, and I've been feeling so much better since last week when I started following your stretching routines! You make this fun. Thank you so much for doing this for free :) I couldn't have afforded it!
My favorite color is blue, and my favorite number is 22!
Feel the same way! How are you feeling now? I just started my pain-free journey.
Oh, fav color is magenta.
My favorite color is aqua. DIL is Kate Kramer, she said she and her sisters went to school with you. I was telling her about this new mobility routine I found on RUclips, and we figured out this little fun fact! I have been doing day one and day two of this almost almost religiously and it keeps my 59-year-old body out of pain. So thank you so much for producing this content! I’m using it as one of the ways to keep the old lady out :-)
Just found your channel, and it's fabulous! I watch alot of fitness / therapy / channels and I don't see anyone doing the kind of muscle targeting in your different videos that you do. You really know your stuff. I say this as an LMT and lifelong enthusiast of all things fitness and bodywotk. Great job! 💜💜
This is my daily morning routine. Thank you man.
I've been doing this routine on and off for almost three years now 💪 As always thanks man!
How much did your flexibility improve?
@@Enhanced-Atrophy I'v been doing it for 4 months together with some other vids and my flexibility as improved a lot. From just reaching my shins to being able to touch the floor with all fingers. Next step is to get may palm touching the floor!
I have so many favorite colors, today the sky was a clear blue and It became my favorite color. This is a great routine, full of movements that will enhance one's life. I totally agree with your closing comments. Let me add - "Do the work and good things will happen."
Colourful is my favorite 🌈😉
Love your way of leading through the exercise always calm motivating optimistic. Your voice in the morning doing the exercises is lighting up my days- thanks a lot mate!!

Green. These stretches are great. I'm definitely going to give it a try. Thank you
Red is my favorite color!!!! I’m Asian, and have always been able to & can still sit in a deep squat. As an aging adult, I am grateful to know now that it is a good thing! Thank you for the content!!!
Green! Thank for the great video ❤
My favorite color is teal :). I'm sharing this with my 2 teen boys who do way too much sitting!!! Thank you
Donald fucking Trump
I had to google TEAL haha. I loved the color without knowing the name. Well i thought it was turquoise. but apparently TEAL is darker. You learn something every day! Thank you!
Blue! You’re speaking truth here. The cascade effect is real. Thank you!
I just found your videos yesterday! They're great!!! Practising was a great relief from stiff hips 'cause of sitting a lot of time in front of the computer.. THANK YOU!!!
Dude just learn the lotus stretch it's the ultimate hip opener.
I needed this, especially with having a desk job. Thanks!
Love it man. Been doing this the last week and I’ve been loving every second of it.
Blue. I never comment on RUclips videos. Making an exception here as your video is really motivating -- the routine and demonstration put out such a great energy! I'm 60 and kinda stiff. Hoping to stay fit for a long time and hopeful that Strength Side is a good fit for me. Thanks!!!!
best stretching routine on youtube imo. and imma go with green :))
Green or blue, always change:D.
I love the way you consider physicality and what emanates from you as a person.
Great routine, gratitude for it.
Nice comment. Spot on
Blue..thank you for bringing and inspiring me to movement and flexibility training!!
You are such an inspiration.
Blue is my favorite color. This routine is gold! Thank you!
Dude, I love it, you are speaking my language, resonating in my soul, I love you! Thank you! Blue & green, like the sky, water and trees. :-)
I'll do this everyday for the rest of the year, starting now.

@@Strengthside I've been doing your morning routine with meditation and I have been on that since the beginning of this year
This is very deep thing

Makes me feel super good.
Thankx
Green homie.
Thank you.
I used to do another one of your morning routine follow along and it really helped, not just my mobility but getting a great start to my day. …Fell off… but! Getting back up, starting simply, with this.
Love it helps me athletically and just moving around more efficiently keep the great work going!!!
An absolute definition of "your body is a temple!!"
This made me flexible as HELL
Thanks for making this ‼️
Thank you for this feedback, you convice me to start this routine!
Favorite color is green and that's the most chilled stretching video/podcast, period! Thank you!
Turquoise. Thank you, i've been doing it for a couple of weeks now (also other of your videos) every morning and already feel improvement in life quality. I like your calm and focused style of teaching, it works much better for me than e.g. fitness apps which seem to focus a lot on reps and speed.
Thank you, my favorite color right now is turquoise 🤙 Peace & Love.
Turquoise.. omg that was awesome 👏🏽 😎 thank you for the great information
Just got done with my first follow along, maan i feel amazing
Edit: I made the comment before you finished the little 'talk' at the end, lmao. I was too eager to type 🤣.
But greys mine.
Just started this and all I can say is.....I have a long way to go!
I started it a week ago feeling better!
keep on the grind my guy
My favorite color is raspberry. Love your videos!! Informative and super beneficial!!
I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, I Absolutely love this !
I'm watching this video instead of stretching, damn some days it's hard to motivate yourself to stretch
Just found this page, legend!!! favourite colour's turquoise
Can’t wait to start practicing this, and to watch you again, and again! (; Chuckles
And you know what, I'll match you: my favorite color is red as well
Bloody wine red ❤️
hhhhh
That lil crawl movement lowkey almost took me out 😩
Pink and black
Teal
I agree with the incremental changes theory. Go big fast. Give up fast. Better steady away. Thanks for being a positive inspiration.
If I did your videos instead of just watching them, I think I would not need weekly massages. 🤗🤗🤗
that literally makes two of us lmao. I´m planning to start practicing more often though!
My colour changes on my physical beings healing for the day... green at the moment 🙏💚💎
What percentage of body fat are you at? Thanks!

My favorite color is purple! I’ve been doing your videos for I’ve a month now! I am pain free and flexible. I can squat and lunge without pain!! Thank you:-)
It feels great but that knee bend stretch I need to work on my balance, favorite color is blue
Same man it's so annoying tbh
Mitchell Moncada yeah thanks man ill try that
Thank you so much for this stretch routine. It's clear you actually care about people's wellbeing. My fave colour is Green!
Hella lit 7:21 got me felt good though that crab was deep nice routine! Def enjoyed. Hit a lot of areas my body needed for sure and the commentary.
black lol
awesome ending of the video!
needed that kick in the ass
ill be here everyday from now on!
