As spotted below, on the "top down" footage, I did indeed put the shoulder buttons in the wrong way around (ZL/L & ZR/R should be the other way around). I do have to say throughout all my testing though and the video footage of me using the grip elsewhere, they were correctly installed and I still found it didn't quite fit as perfectly as I'd have liked.
I think you install the shoulder button on the wrong side Around 3:20, you can see ZL and L on the right side joycon, that could be why it didn't fit correctly, just my guess though
Yep, you're 100% right there, on the "top down" footage, I did indeed put them in the wrong way around, good spotting. @@128KB Good to know that you tested the case when the shoulder button installed correctly, my friend wanted to buy this, but I think the neo grip would be the better choice. Thanks for the quick reply.
@@dongcongdanh Yeah, every video I do about products I use the item for 1 or 2 weeks before taking notes and filming, just unfortunate I didn't spot my error during the filming there! Yeah, I agree, I much prefer the NeoGrip myself too!
i have it and i'm a bit disappointed. 1.) for some reason it's not dockable even if i give it a push. 2.) the lower part where the speaker is located is a bit loose 3.) they've changed the trigger or shoulder buttons but i didnt like the feel but i would say, its better than the previous version. i end up selling it online and got myself a mobapad m8 and instead :)
@@128KB i've watched your mobapad video and also the one from CTA - tech desk. i ordered the M8 (white) from an online store here in Manila PH for P2450. that's around 37-38 UK and i'm loving it.
I know exactly what it is but unfortunately I have trouble recalling words in general 😅, especially when filming. I don't script videos so the fault is my own. Luckily you understood what I meant hahah

Been following this channel mainly your reviews on controllers specially on joystick checking its deadzone and accuracy is spot on 🤗
Thank you so much! We're got more on their way :D
Skull & Co needs to release rubberized grips.
Yeah that would be cool!
💯!!!
I agree. I'm kind of surprised that they don't take more advantage of the removable grip gimmick. They should have different textures, shapes, etc.
No they don't. They need better plastic with better grip texture like Magpul. Rubber deterioriates over time. I don't want sticky grips.
I like the gripcase more than the neogrip
Fair enough!
"Yeah ok, I've not bothered. I'm not gonna dock it with it."
Wtf, is this a review video or what? Why wouldn't you test that for us?
It's dockable, I'm saying for my personal use I'm not going to be docking it with it on.
The skull and co neo grip is better. This one affects the shoulder button causing some input delays. And the fit is not that snug.
Yep, my thoughts too

Yeah I get you, it's not for me either really. I love the Mobapad M6/M8's! We've got some videos of them on the channel 😁

Satisfye ftw
Yeah the satisfye grips are very good alternatives!
@@128KB i mean, better than this 😂
@@jaycris6338 yeah I'd choose the Satisfye over this too but that's just my personal preference!
Where do you get satisfye grips in UK?
Plastic rubber........ TPU!!!! Even say silicone if you must 😂 I like your reviews but dude research the product first 😂
