Surprised you didn't address the "th" sound in the phrase "death with no freedom" any earlier. I noticed it as soon as she did the vocals! But interesting manner in which to try and fix those sorts of things. Great tutorial as always!

Hello, just wondering, what's the point of creating a new track for the bus/aux? thanks

See explanation here: reverb.com/news/why-and-how-to-use-aux-busses-in-your-daw - basically you are able to send multiple tracks to the same auxilary for the same effects, rather than multiple effects and causing too much strain on your CPU.

I'm kind of a snob when it comes to reverbs. I'm not normally like that, but damn it if most of them just sound fake, and muddy sounding even with EQ etc. I think of great Reverbs on tracks like Micheal Bolton, Whitney Houston etc. that makes a big singer sound like they're singing into a HUGE place that gives you these amazing tails on the transients. I don't mind smaller rooms too, but a GREAT Lexicon is where it's at for me. I have the Waves Rverb and even that one is....not my favorite.
The 60's and 70's were ceramic walls and slap back rooms...almost a chorus effect...then the 80's got those luscious warm and glossy overdone rooms and tails with the outboard equipment coming online with the Lexicon 4080L etc. Then that was overdone so the 90's went dry as hell. Some of those vocals are hard for me to listen to because they are so dry and uninteresting and lacking vibrancy. (Like a burger with no ketchup mustard or mayonnaise...or better yet...cookies and NO MILK!) But digital audio was just coming online and the stuff they were using didn't always creating that rockin Neve sound we all know and love either. Then it seemed like Reverbs came back around to average, or slightly bigger than average sized rooms with just enough wet signal to make a vocal pop in the mix. I'm bringing those 80's reverbs BACK BABY! I love that shiz! K...got that off my chest. Nuff said.

Totally take back what I said about RVerb. I used the old version years ago and it sounded horrible...the dry and wet sounds didn't mesh right. Having said that, I just popped it in to play with it and I had NO IDEA they upgraded it. It sounds AMAZING! That golden room is impressive. Sorry I wasted your time with that rant.
