Honoring Eddie Aikau on the 40th anniversary of his disappearance

Legendary waterman, Eddie Aikau disappeared 40 years ago. The Aikau ohana gathered at Waimea Bay Saturday for a small paddle-out and pule to celebrate Eddie and remember the sacrifice he made.

Just saw a youtube comment from a homeless man that got trained to be a lifeguard by him and was homeless and such. Said he joined the air force and was sad to hear about eddie when he got back
