Disco #11 is almost assuredly 78% Wild Turkey juice. Bardstown tour guides have hinted at it, and the mash bill matches. If you look at some of the older blends, they've had 12 year KY bourbon of the same mash bill, then Disco #11 has 13 year, and the new Disco #12 has 14 year KY bourbon of the same mash bill. It sounds like they buy Wild Turkey's off profile whiskey that either doesn't make the cut for WT101 12 year or RR13, and use that.
We have a local store that has been selling that dark pumpernickel at cask strength for 47.99. They haven't figured it out yet cause it's a new product from them and I've been buying them and storing them cause it's damn special. Best surprise rye since a Riverset store pick a few years back
that Hidden Barn bottle at the 12:42 mark is pretty solid. have batch 2 and enjoying it! can tell former face of Old Forester (Jackie Zykan) brought her well established blending acumen to Hidden Barn
You guys are insane, no offense but I would take scotch over bourbon any day. I'm not a big drinker. Maybe that's why. There's no way in hell I'm drinking more than one!
We tried OH Ingram River Aged, and it's decent enough bourbon, but it's not going to knock your socks off. That Mary Dowling, on the other hand, is worth every single penny. If it wasn't for the pricepoint we would plow through them without thinking about it.
Hey Brewzle! I’m not sure if you ever found out why some of the scotch you are seeing has unicorn stoppers on top of them. I’ve been to the UK a few times now and noticed the unicorn coming up a bit. The unicorn is Scotland's national animal and a symbol of the country's history, culture, and landscape. The unicorn has been associated with Scotland since the 12th century. It is a representation of their royalty and identity. Love the channel! Thanks!
I've always been a beer guy, but Ive been hooked on your bourbon hunting videos and ive been going to liqour stores just looking around, Im going to try some one of these days!
All Peerless products are worth their prices in my opinion. Everything they do is legitimately small batch. The High Rye Bourbon is only like 10-15 barrels
Awesome. Hit all the good spots. Thanks for leaving me a dettling. Picked up that second one at river bend and it's incredible. Total wine has the high proof meleck now too.
This guy's voice is so immaculate like I just got into whiskey I never really once like really got into alcohol but this guy right here he has a pretty good opinion on stuff and He's definitely entertaining
I went to ragged branch distillery here in Virginia.. the Louisiana release is the regular bourbon with a Louisiana label, I bought one just because that’s where I grew up but it is one you’d use for cocktails for sure.
I just found an old Forester bottle in bond from 1968-1973. Its 100 proof but a bit spicy for me,also found a calvert whisky from 1976 that is only 80 and it is pretty good for a newbie even tho its not bourbon.
I don’t know if you’ve mentioned it, but you need to invest in an app or something like that where you can scan a bourbon and it puts it in your inventory so when you go out you know if you have it or not. You would have access to your whole inventory.
Not gonna lie... Getting a little concerned about Brewzle's health and weight. When you get so big you walk with the wobble it's a dangerous place to live. I hope he can find a way to get healthy and stick around for decades!
I was at my local PA store yesterday (all state run) and this couple walked in and asked, “Do you guys carry Pappy’s?” 😂😂😂😂😂 I’ve never even seen a bottle of buffalo trace there.
Fun Fact: The FWGS usually keep 1L's of BT in the back, reserved for bars and restaurants. But, if you ask for it, they'll usually sell it to you, especially if you chat the people up at the store a bit and get to know them.
Bro, you had good instincts to grab the fried chicken. in southern Louisiana the best fried chicken is going to come from a gas station or liquor store.
Hammond/Madisonville is a different animal than over here in Baton Rouge, but we’ve had the cask JT Meleck. Just got the 524 ECBP and Larceny. Toasted is showing up more, too. Better chances of KC12 over that way vs here.
The Ingram Bourbon is good The blue bottle is better than the white Come down further South next time Grocery store called Cannata's Gas station called S&T Couple Rouses in the Houma area Lots of store picks
I see everyone seems to look for the very high proofs, I really prefer the 80 to 100 proof. I love the vanilla, Carmel and oak flavors I really don't like the burn of high proofs.
What do you know about IJW Whiskey and their wheated whiskey Old Emmer? Also you need to visit Ragged Branch and a few other distilleries when you visit VA.
I have the 73 Bywater. It's a good four grain. But I prefer a 4 grain without rye in it, such as the Lee W Sinclair. Ragged Branch Wheated is ok. But their Double Oak Wheated is way better. Especially in a store pick.
Man we get stung with taxes and import duties so badly here in Australia, even taking exchange rate and the cost of transportation into account we easily pay double and triple the price for quality bourbon.
Love your reels, and would really appreciate it if you could give more camera time to the shelves so I could become more familiar with prices in other states. Thanks
I've been to Peg leg Porker's place in Nashville, a) the BBQ is very good as is their banana puddin. I tried their bourbons in their place and I really enjoyed them. If you can find them, try them, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I'm sure someone watching saw all those Old Carters at 21:48 and wondered why they didn't talk about them. Guy... Old Carter is just MGP for 3-5 TIMES the price you'd pay to get the same MGP from someone else. It's ALL marketing. Maybe once upon a time Old Carter had some special bottles but MGP sells the old barrels to anyone who will pay for them.
Riverbend used to be really good, but the guy that ran the bourbon side of it sold it in December of 23. Got a lot of good picks and allocated stuff from them. They used to do monthly tastings as well. Sad that he sold it
Yeah, half of my subs are food dedicated, and I can say the consensus is that the south has the best chicken and more often than not it is sold in gas stations. I live in northern MN and the nearest town Bemidji has a Northdale Oil gas station with the best chicken in town. Create away, I'll sub and watch!

Ya got me. Bought my first from them just now. I had been looking for a bit though.
I don’t understand why I love watching this dude hunt for bourbon so much.
I don’t even drink and I love watching his channel and his hunts!
1) he’s incredibly likable and positive.
2) he’s genuinely passionate about the craft, which can’t be duplicated.
Shhhhhh just let brewzle do his thing to you!!
Honestly don't know why I'm here lol
Cause you cant😂!
massive shout out to the guest, he was really damn solid. no bs special crap, knowledgable, and personable. great addition
agreed
I was about to comment this. The most engaged and compelling guest brewzle has had so far by a noticeable margin. I really enjoyed the conversation.
Your tour guide knocked it out of the park! Well spoken and knowledgeable.
That guy seemed like one of the more knowledgeable guest bourbon hunters
he knows his stuff for sure
The local guy with him seem to really know his stuff and especially his local stuff, chill dude too

Peerless can do no wrong as far as I’m concerned. Everything I’ve had from them is spectacular.
same experience here
I don't even really drink anymore and was never a bourbon drinker but I enjoy watching the bourbon hunting videos
“That’s $17 I’m never gonna get back” 😂
at the 12:45 mark there is a Middle West Dark Pumpernickel at $69.99. Buy that all day long, so good, and that price is $10 lower than I've seen.
We have a local store that has been selling that dark pumpernickel at cask strength for 47.99. They haven't figured it out yet cause it's a new product from them and I've been buying them and storing them cause it's damn special. Best surprise rye since a Riverset store pick a few years back
D11 is phenomenal! I killed one bottle & still have a bunker bottle. It’s definitely a large percentage of WT13.
that Hidden Barn bottle at the 12:42 mark is pretty solid. have batch 2 and enjoying it! can tell former face of Old Forester (Jackie Zykan) brought her well established blending acumen to Hidden Barn
I'd choose most Bourbon collections over most Scotch collections any d@ng day. Started on scotch but fell in love with Bourbon and never going back.
You guys are insane, no offense but I would take scotch over bourbon any day. I'm not a big drinker. Maybe that's why. There's no way in hell I'm drinking more than one!
One bite shoutout was spot on
Total Wine sold me on a 1792 full proof pick today after I already intended on getting some: Bakers 7, OGD 114, and a Larceny barrel proof.
We tried OH Ingram River Aged, and it's decent enough bourbon, but it's not going to knock your socks off. That Mary Dowling, on the other hand, is worth every single penny. If it wasn't for the pricepoint we would plow through them without thinking about it.
Its crazy watching this guy hunt bourbon is better than anything on tv
This guide is the best or a least one of the best you have had!
In my hometown!!! Glad you had a good local guide

Brewzle with the one bite everybody knows the rules! MY MAN!
I like the rouses...can always find alot good stuff there! Missed gulf coast and couple others...
Gulf Coast, Bedico Market, and Martin's Wine are good stops as well.
9:55 That’s *so cool* I like the crafting part of whisky/bourbon 👉
This guy's voice is so immaculate like I just got into whiskey I never really once like really got into alcohol but this guy right here he has a pretty good opinion on stuff and He's definitely entertaining
Will not be disappointed in the Disco 11. Great pick up
Pegleg porker 12 is absolutely phenomenal. One of my favorites outside of the price.
I went to ragged branch distillery here in Virginia.. the Louisiana release is the regular bourbon with a Louisiana label, I bought one just because that’s where I grew up but it is one you’d use for cocktails for sure.
18 yr McCallen!!!Excellent!
Than New Riff Single barrel @12:25 is worth a grab. I like it about as well as rare breed... drinks hotter though.
Dettling is such a great bottle. I have a cask strength that is a 6-grain and 5 years old. Sooooo goood.
I saw your guy was talking about The Backyard. Its in LakeView in New Orleans. Great bourbon they bottle in house.
Cole was like a younger version of you, Brewzle Jr. 😂
7 3 is putting out some great pours! I love the local distilleries.
I work at a liquor store and I tasted that world whiskey Society Obtainium that one I tasted, and it was at 140 proof and it was great
I just found an old Forester bottle in bond from 1968-1973. Its 100 proof but a bit spicy for me,also found a calvert whisky from 1976 that is only 80 and it is pretty good for a newbie even tho its not bourbon.
You should also visit River Ridge Wine and Spirit in River Ridge here in LA. They do a lot of barrel picks.
I would've loved to buy the K.Luke Batch 7 bottle that sold-out so fast online last year. Never did get one. Great video TJ.
I'm heading back from Japan on Friday if you need some more Wild Turkey 12.
Babe wake up new brewzle video just dropped!
*she left years ago due to my bourbon addiction.
I stayed single, because I figured they were just gonna leave anyway.
In the mid to late 60's 12 year Bonded Old Charter was to die for.
14:46 "one bite... everybody knows the rules..." Brilliant. You should trademark that!
That's a bit from Dave Pino's pizza reviews. 😂
@@radbrad1991dave portney
@@radbrad1991 I think that was the joke my guy.
Right here in my back yard. You have given me a couple new spots to check out.
Triple Nickel looks so nice
Sooo many good things on the shelf down there. Dettlings and Crittendens on the shelf 😖 . Man we don't have that selection in michigan 😕
Nice stores! Discovery 11 seems like 13yr Wild Turkey and the 10yr seems like Jim Beam with Bardstown’s 6yr. Very nice pour!
I don’t know if you’ve mentioned it, but you need to invest in an app or something like that where you can scan a bourbon and it puts it in your inventory so when you go out you know if you have it or not. You would have access to your whole inventory.
It's in the works 🔥
HUNTING LETS GO 🍿
woot woot!
Hey,..Arizona whiskey? We have some ready......finally
Love the food break in the middle of the vid 🔥 lowkey need more food review content from u TJ
Not gonna lie... Getting a little concerned about Brewzle's health and weight. When you get so big you walk with the wobble it's a dangerous place to live. I hope he can find a way to get healthy and stick around for decades!
He's already lost a lot of weight believe it or not. I think he's on a strict diet.
I was thinking the same thing. Not trying to be pestering
@@radbrad1991he’s gained a ton of weight in the last 7-8 months
@@radbrad1991 I don't believe that's true. Maybe on a short timeline. On longer timeline though, certainly not lost.
LOL on you being banned from Piggly Wiggly. I had this mental image of your face on a poster with "do not serve this man" printed on it! 🤣🤣🤣

Peerless double Oaked for $48 is a steal compared to local prices for me
I couldn’t help but notice the guy in the background at the bar drinking beer with a straw. 😂
Fun seeing you in my neck of the woods
JT Meleck 118 is a good pour. We have it plentiful around here
Great summary of MGP. 👏🏻
That Rouse’s Market WRDO store pick is outrageously good. Picked some up while working in Lake Charles.
13 yr old Wild Turkey at barrel proof is Russell’s Reserve 13. Disco 11 is the available alternative to RR13 IMO.
Loved it when i lived there! Great finds and available 7 days a week!
Hammond/Madisonville is a different animal than over here in Baton Rouge, but we’ve had the cask JT Meleck. Just got the 524 ECBP and Larceny. Toasted is showing up more, too. Better chances of KC12 over that way vs here.

Thanks for the Raley's shoutout again!!
Talk to Phillip at Distillerie Acadian about doing a barrel pick. 🤠
OH Ingram is awesome. Their Flagship is delicious.
Meat market / liquor stores are a totally a thing up North in WI
I love that disco 11, picked one up two days ago. Crazy complex… sooooo goood
Oh I love the food reviews as well!
Blue corn still austin is fantastic!
I see everyone seems to look for the very high proofs, I really prefer the 80 to 100 proof. I love the vanilla, Carmel and oak flavors I really don't like the burn of high proofs.
“We didn’t find any allocated bottles.” 5 gallons of Old Carter on the top shelf lol.

I missed Brewzle near me 😭
Yea, you should’ve got that peerless double oak rye. That was a delicious bottle!

come to Hall's Wine and Spirits, if you're ever in the DFW area in TX! we're a liquor store/bbq spot/gas station
“You chose poorly.” 😂😂😂
I found the Batch 12 in a store in Orlando for 89 and you had to purchase a store pick. Was about 120 in after taxes. Great bottle.
Riverbend used to be really good, but the guy that ran the bourbon side of it sold it in December of 23. Got a lot of good picks and allocated stuff from them. They used to do monthly tastings as well. Sad that he sold it
don't worry what people say just enjoy life.
Giant Texas Distillers has a great bar here in Houston at the distillery when you come down.
I’m a big guy like you TJ, and I always like the button ups you wear in your videos 1). What brand are they and 2). Get them to sponsor ya!
I've heard it's 13 yr Turkey and the other 10 yr Kentucky is Beam and the

That Paul Sutton has Alabama ties. You should be interested in that for the grains from Aliceville even though it's distilled in Kentucky
Please go to the other Mandeville Rouse’s. So much more bourbon focus. (Closer to Causeway)
Peerless high rye sits on shelves here because it's slept on soooo good
Grocery store bourbon prices are the best...I get Blanton for $65 and Eagle Rare for $36 here in Indiana
Bourbon and fried chicken hunting? Yes
