Mississauga or Halifax which city is good for a it professional considering overall aspects?
Not sure about Halifax but in my opinion Mississauga will have better opportunity and higher pay for IT professionals. Also, it is close to Toronto, which has more jobs

Pro's: plenty of great & diverse restaurants. The top 5 areas still have lots of greenery and are relatively quiet.
Getting a 3rd hospital plus many highways to choose from is nice. Sq1 is a great place to shop.
Cons: outside of the top 5 areas of the city, there's a lot of traffic and some visible poverty. Crime in the low income areas is going up.
In my opinion, if you can get a decent detached home in a top 10 area in the city then go for it. Other types of homes/condo consider Oakville, Richmond Hill, East Vaughan.
