Brampton has 30% more people per home than Mississauga or the provincial average, due to cultural influence. Chez Brampton Is essentially a buffet restaurant where 6 eat but only 4 pay. Service levels decline while property taxes increase as a result of this. Single Family homes are essentially subsidizing the city/regional services being consumed by their neighbour's tenants.
Reality means a single family home will always pay more than tenants. Suck it up buddy as your taxes cover your home, which is worth more than the apartment or whatever a tenant lives in. As for more people living in homes in Brampton rather than Mississauga, it sounds like more families as opposed to individuals or small families in Mississauga. Quit whining because if you sell your homeyou end up with more than selling a suite in Brampton.
@@Alwayswilling The tenants in a single family home pay $0 towards the city/regional services they consume, while tenants in apartment buildings pay a share based on the taxes paid by the entire building. The taxes traditional rentals pay is based is included in the rental charge, and the amount paid is based on the estimated city/regional services they would consume. Secondary units pay $0 extra related to services consumed. Any increased taxes paid by the home is based strictly on the home's assessed value after any improvements were made, regardless of how those improvements are used.
