Dangerous Driving - My parents are actually living at Tampines and my dad would always drive at that T junction daily.
It would be better if government could just create some humps if needed as there are also many kids in the area as it is near Safra Tampines which has lots of kids crossing the roads. I kept seeing the roads being digged open and closed up several of times within few mths perhaps to fix the cables under the road but different departments each time.
They should create such humps instead of opening and closing the roads up.
Personally, I feel there is no point raising the penalties as it was just an accident. It does not hring the dead back to life. It would be better if driver of the accident could turn ON his signal light in the first place and all these will not happen.
For OSIM belly machine, I am a mum who delivered my child 2 years ago. I do not see a problem of them advertising such machines for mothers who tend to have saggy stomach.
Also, will a man pay money for belly reducing machine? No but a Mother will.

whenever I give signal to change lanes, drivers in Singapore will speed up to prevent me from changing lanes. this just shows the mentality of the driver - it is ME first, and not the safety of others.

Changing laws for this or changing traffic lights there for improvements are not necessary.. just give a double sentence of banned will be enough suffering for the culprits and give a high fines ...

Just as Singapore has zero tolerance for drugs, we should also have the same attitude towards dangerous driving. Why PMDs are mandatory to install speed limiters but more deadly vehicles are not? Revenue from speeding fines will drop but every Singaporean is more important than money. If we procrastinate, very soon we'll have another case where someone makes another impulsive and fatal mistake.

Do you know why it feels like drivers and behaving more entitled? Because drivers are paying a lot for the certificate of entitlement.

The law should include another process to let such offender explain (himself, not by lawyer) to the judge why did he drives that manner and what went through his mind when driving in such a manner. The judge has the right to double the sentence (include additional caning) basing on this real time explanation process by the offender to see if there is any remorse or whether the offender was in the right frame of mind during the offence or whether the explanation is coached by lawyer to cheat the doubling of sentencing.

❤❤SpeedLimiter : if a person is drunk and press the gas too much such that the car reaches a speed of of say 95km/h, then if speedlimiter auto reduce it to 70km/h, would that not be a safer? Means no one can overspeed although speed will still be good enough for normal driving.

    1. Can Malaysia re-absorb SG into the Federation?
    2. Is there absolutely zero possibility that JB and SG form a Federation?
I know, you hear it first from me. The original

ERP2.0 should act as speed limit detector for cars in Singapore. Then everyone will be happy (except car owner).😅

Hey fellow yah lah butters , It seems like the erp 2.0 is aimed at GNSS satellite distance based charges in the future. What does this mean ? Is it better for the road users ? Only time will tell. ☺️ But based GNSS consulting website , the GNSS system is much better revenue generating system compared to toll based microwave gantry systems . Also real time GNSS tracking means lesser privacy? It’s not all bad it is also good for realtime traffic update , accident updates, also eases traffic congestion as avoiding erp gantry tolls removes the need for detours. No need to maintain expensive microwave gantry systems, cut costs. When the GNSS system comes to the forefront I think there will be more debate on its merits or demerits . Haresh and Terence what’s with the belly bulge and penis length debate??? 😂😂😂😂 let’s focus on the more important people this week , Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers to be, mothers , grandmothers and god mothers. 😊

Words of Wisdom (debunk if you can)
If you drive today and reached home safely, you may not realise that you were LUCKY and thus safe and not because you are good at driving?
You are Lucky a reckless driver did not bang into you.
    Feel free to debate.

Haresh is right. There is a higher chance to control your belly fat than the length of your penis. He didn't say it was easy but it's possible but very difficult but got chance! Sooo I don't know why Terence was trying to argue with that.

I worry if speedlimiters mandated :
    1. The rich may not want to park so much money in sg, the swiss asia. They may park less lambos and ferraris here. They can afford fines like its nothing.
    2. The rich cannot flaunt their super cars able to speed at super high speeds.
    3. If speedlimters used, cars cannot speed and red light cameras cannot get reckless drivers to pay fines. This keeps me up late at night.

tbh, the accident, no sufficient law change can prevent this... it is the way that the law is enforced that is the crucial. there should be a change in mandatory charge of murder. meaning ANY major accident that causes death is an immediate classification as MURDER. the defendant shall hire his own lawyer if he want to fight the case. for any murder case, the treatment on these people are different. they are locked up etc. that should be how they are treated if they choose to drive in such a manner. fight ur case down from a murder to "justify" the lighter sentencing. it is down to how the SPF want to classify it. in which SPF is under MHA! so.... no need change law. need change SPF classification for such incident.

SpeedLimiter : prevents speeding = ProActive.
Red Light Camera : Re-Active. Too late.
If no fines how? Cannot, i support red light cameras. The rich can afford the fines
