The lift in Vivocity is a timebomb waiting to explode. The 2 lifts are the only one that can go from B2 to L3 and everyone is trying to use it. It is small and now they "upgraded" it by giving it "no touch" buttons. the no touch buttons are so sensitive that ended up every level is being pressed and it has to stop at every floor even if no one is going to that level. They actually "improved" with 2 new lifts but that 2 new lifts does not go to B2 to the MRT and also many people do not know about these new lifts. Whoever managing the shopping center make lots of wrong decisions.

I find that when new political candidates are announced, the information the public usually get is waay too basic: so-and-so is a 30-50 something-year old lawyer / doctor / ex-general who has been active in a GRC for X years and is married with 2 kids. This type of information is barely enough for voters to make a good judgement on what kind of parliamentarian they will be once elected. What are their views on the rising cost of living in Singapore? What are their views on income inequality in Singapore? What are their views on the the affordability of public housing? Have they formed their own thoughts on these issues or will they just regurgitate status quo policies? These are important questions to ask because if they get elected, they will be in parliament voting for various motions and bills which impact the lives of Singaporeans. I truly believe the reason Worker’s Party won in Sengkang GRC is because of Jamus Lim’s participation at the televised debate. We get to hear his and Workers Party’s positions on various key issues, not just basic biodata of each candidate.
