I am 52, female, and just completed my SCSM 2024 marathon in 4 hours 24 mins. It’s not fast but it is satisfying for me. Running is a sport that is age blind. You can do it as long as you put your mind to doing it, train properly and set realistic goals. Marathon for an amateur is half ability and half psychological. Don’t let those people out there telling you about a wall somewhere in the mystical 30 km mark! Flip it around and tell yourself when you reach 30 km, you have come so far, now it is count down to the finishing line! See you at the next big race in Singapore on 27 April 2025 - 2XU half marathon, Terrence!

I listen to your podcasts when I run. I train for 10km and the podcast length is about right.

What Harish said is right. I honestly think that our weather has affected some runners. In fact, i saw runners collapsing/Collapsed at 16KM marker both this and last year's race while completing my Half Marathon. I honestly would request for the organiser to reconsider the start times for the safety of the participants.

Marathon sponsors & organisers Should seriously consider a 6pm beginning for such events in our super Hot & Sticky climate ~ ignoring this factor would be insanely unwise; ❤ the chuckles😅 re the sneaky Geylang salons….And Keep it 😎Chill😎YLB team re the Nas Daily issue ~ if you Know in all good conscience that you’ve been fair in your narrative, Carry On & Keep nJoying creating your podcast ~ as the majority of Us do in viewing them too!👍👏💪☺️.

The highest tip for the hair salons was left by a bald guy. Lol

Listen to our bodies... Wait, as in the marathon context, not the geylang context.

I completely disagree on the notion that just because YLB attends an event organised by said organiser it implies they support them. It’s a content creators platform where socialising and meeting people overall helps the brand and probably opens news doors for sponsors or collaborators and should only be seen as such. I am on twitter but that doesn’t mean I support everything the owner of twitter/Facebook or Instagram does or says. Should everyone just leave the respective platforms because being on them implies support?😅

In Australia, some legit hairsalon do charge haircut by timing.

Using cancel culture for bullying is very prevalent in Singapore now. I face it on a daily basis.

Many a times, death after a run or sporting activity is due to an underlying health issue that wasnt known

My politically correct comment on the runner is, it does not matter what was the vaccination he took😅
