Just noticed that plugin and tried it today, WOW, the result is crazy. I'm here searching RUclips to see what others think. Thanks for producing this video. Buying that BMCC a while back was a good look. Talk about long-term ROI. haha!
Hey there! Voice Isolation tool is available in the Fairlight panel under the Dynamics section in DaVinci Resolve Studio - hope this helps you find it!
I just recently found the Vocal Isolation effects in Audacity, too! So fun to play with! Hi, so the reason I'm here is I watched your audacity compressor and crossfading vids and they didn't quite cover my multiple tracks issue. I have music tracks overlapping and by themselves, their audio levels are perfect. B/c they overlap though, they do that physics thing regarding waves interfering/adding to each other. So when I play the project at the overlap, the playback level bar is way into the red despite tracks A and B are themselves within -6db. I do not want to fade track 'A', so I cannot crossfade. Is there a solution? I want to be able to compress the "summation" of the tracks, not the individual tracks themselves. Possible? Edit>> Ooh, Mix n Render to new track!! then compress!
Yes, using the "Mix n Render to new track" function in Audacity and then applying compression to the new track should help you compress the "summation" of the overlapping tracks while keeping the original tracks unaffected. Great suggestion!
In the latest DaVinci Resolve 19.0 update, the powerful Noise Reduction and Voice Isolation tools can be used to effectively isolate and extract the vocals from a full music track, allowing you to remove or manipulate the background instrumentation with precision.
I am very impressed with what it can do. I sat on a quad bike and revved the engine. Voice isolation COMPLETELY removed the engine noise! I also revisited some footage of an interview I did at the Excel Centre in London back in 2012 which had an enormous amount of background atmos - again, it completely removed all of it and brought out the voices with astounding clarity.
Absolutely, combining the noise removal results of DaVinci Resolve Studio with Adobe Audition definitely elevates the audio quality to studio level perfection!
nice video, can you make a video on this same thing but a after you remove the audio? because sometimes after you do cancel the background the voice sounds funny
Sure, I can create a video on post-processing techniques to enhance the quality of the voice after removing background noise with DaVinci Resolve Studio.
Shocker. Not the video, that was great. Totally shocked to hear, or not, that noise removal. Will it stand the test of time? I have to say probably. And I suspect improvements will be made in the future through updates. Well worth considering the Studio version.

No - worth to test for sure!
Hi! I don't have that option, I ony see the dialogue leveler and not the voice isolation. Where can I find it elsewhere?

That's amazing! It's truly impressive how DaVinci Resolve Studio's voice isolation tool can completely remove unwanted background noise and bring out clear voices.

And when you combine its result with Adobe Podcast it's like it was recorded in a studio with high tech mic.

Glad you enjoyed the video! I agree, the noise removal feature in DaVinci Resolve Studio is impressive for sure!
The Waves Clarity Vx Pro is much better at precisely this - isolating voice. Not trying to advertise, it's just my option after testing it out.
Thanks for sharing your experience! It's always great to hear about different tools and options for isolating voice in audio production.
