Diadora Maximus RTX 14 N were the coolest-looking boots ever. I am 99% sure that if they were re-released in 2024 with new color options, every OG player would buy one. I have a specific leg length to hip joint mobility ratio, so it is hard to do power shots. Every shot I make is basically a topspin. Diadora Maximus RTX 14 N would be a perfect shoe for me. Totti knew his thing.
The ex big brands like umbro, lotto and diadora need to learn that kids nowadays won't give more that 250 USD for something that isn't Adidas, Puma or Nike
I can pretty much understand where the brands are coming from given they’re made from Italy but $230-$280 especially for a brand that isn’t Mizuno is huge. These are more catered towards boot heads or a niche crowd
It's true. But during my time (late 80s to mid 90s) nobody cared about nike. Adidas was for old people. I remember my friends were making fun of my adidas when most of them wearing diadoras and lotto. The crown jewel was a mizuno. Only one kid that I knew could afford one.
I’d love to see reviews for some of the old school boot companies when they make something good. So seeing the elite version of the Maximus or a review of the Matchwinner would be awesome
@@devantelewis6774 lol same here like I love Diadora and the brasil og is a pair I always break out every once in a while But will only buy when it’s half the price given not everyone will buy them at full retail They’re very much catered towards a much different audience
So if i wear 44 Tiempo and 43 Morelia neo 4, should i go for 44 with these? Tight toebox would be usually my main issue. I tried 44.5 Tekela v4 pro low, while the length was perfect, the toebox was so low that my big toe was popping out of the upper material gasping out for air lol. These Diadoras seem to have a similarly slim toebox? Can't say no to a padded leather boot with a modern soleplate. Gib MORE
Answer to my own ass from future: 43 fits exactly like 44 Tiempo. Good amount of toebox volume too. They fit much better than predator elites and copa icons out of the box.
Can you please bring in the $210 elite with the knitted tongue section? There was a similar boot underneath the B-Elite Italia (the Tech) which I bought and liked a lot.
Hey boss can you also get your hands on a Diadora Maximus elite with the knit upper? Pleasantly surprised by them. So much so that i'm considering sending them back and getting ITA version.. if the price difference is worth it.
Would love to see the takedown review! I had a pair of these and the toebox was wayyyy too slim for me and took my big toenail with it . I bought these boots as a Roma and Totti fan and wanted to wear them so bad, but they killed my feet. Maybe the takedowns would offer a different fit with the same amazing colourway!
Damn shame, was really interested in these. Slim toebox is also my main issue these days. I tried Tekela v4 pro low and Predator elites lately, while the length was perfect, the toebox was so low that my big toe was popping out of the upper material gasping out for air lol.
So i bought these (the elite version but they look the same) and they fit pretty good. Toebox volume is plenty like Mizunos; surely more than any mainstream brand. Comfy out of the box. Heel lockdown could be a bit better but it's not bad. Touch is great.
@@khelgarironfist3301 Had the same issue with the Tekela. There's zero volume in the toebox. The upper was crushing my toes. Have no idea how so many reviews are positive for it

If you find that you’re slipping a lot, then you might want to invest in some turf boots. If traction isn’t an issue, there’s nothing wrong with wearing indoors.
Leather quality is comparable to other high-end Diadoras. MIJ Mizuno is still the best IMO though in terms of feel. These are much more padded than the Mizunos though

They will not even give that, they tell their parents. And most parents will always go for the cheapest
