I always find it kind of cute how Michael has these "perfect lines" that he tries to use in specific situations, for example when he says the "Would you do me the honor..." when he proposed to his real estate agent and I believe he used that line in other times too lol. He must have seen it on a movie at some point and thought it was romantic and wanted to use it for his own proposal xD
I rooted for these two so hard, more than I did for Jim and Pam or Dwight and Angela. She’s just absolutely perfect for him; she’s girl Michael. but she is just the best parts of Michael
You were showing an arrow pointing. I was busy with the vidro playing inattentive. When I finally paid attention there was something written on the phone. With the arrow pointing compared to the send button I pressed what was unconsciously entered into the comment
People can fight me on this, but I think Michael and Holly’s proposal is the best one of the series. I get why Jim and Pam’s was the way that it was, but I remember just tearing up harder over this episode than when Pam and Jim got engaged. I remember being happy when it happened in a “ YES! IT’S HAPPENING!!” In a sort of way. But I guess for as much as I liked Jim and Pam’s relationship growth, I was more involved in Michael and Holly. When the series was first airing and the episode after they broke up I was just so upset that they took Holly away from Michael. When Steve Carrell decided to leave the show, my first thought at the announcement was “he better end up with Holly!” So it made me happy to see them give Michael the growth and send off to be with her. Imo it was perfect in how they handled Michael’s character arcs and send off
Think there's a deeper meaning with that clown painting? It held together the Halpert household all those years. Then once Jim removes it, the cracks in their "foundation" begin to form.
This episode is the "beginning of the end" for Michael Scott in the Office. He's shown growth and maturity as the season's progressed and we've reached full Michael maturity. He's mature enough now to realize that the world doesn't revolve around him. He's found the love of his life and is ready to upend his life for her. His proposal has echoes of Jim's proposal to Pam with "rain" pouring down. And Michael finally verbalizes that he's moving on, making this the beginning of the end.
I always thought the paper from Creed was just his fake Schrute Bucks from Season 3. Always glad Jim and Pam got the clown painting down at some point.
2 years ago Me being 16 watching the office i thought micheal was lucky to be sleeping with jan and in a relationship. Now at 18 i realise that he was in a toxic relationship and that holly was the best thing to happen to him
For the 1st time, watching this video, I caught something really cool - I can see the candle in the Dwight swapping stuff as a foreshadowing of the Michael-Holly proposal, with those candles. Another nice touch along with the sale items pointed out in the video.
Yes. The Hank bit is my favorite of this episode. I don’t rewatch it too much. It’s not a “comfortable” episode for me to watch constantly. It’s okay, just have a memorable scene. This is definitely one of the episodes of The Office ever made. Nothing more, nothing less. Great ending scene though.
1. Angela's books look like the "left behind" series which, if you aren't old like me, was a very popular book series in the 90s in christian circles particularly. Angela Martin definitely would have owned the whole series. 2. Michael also fake fires Erin when he comes back to dunder mifflin from Michael Scott paper company. 3. I also think it's interesting that the garage sale is reminiscent of the crime aid episode where their relationship is destroyed by David Wallace. He sees Michael and holly kissing and that is the beginning of them being separated. Now they are in the same spot and it's the beginning of their life together. 4. i love the proposal but i will never forgive the writers for not giving us a Michael Scott wedding.
I love these because I've streamed the Office twice once on Netflix and The Office was the reason I got the Peacock app and watched it again. I never watched the original airings of the show
I think making the episode so busy was actually a good move, so that when you're watching for the first time (or don't remember it) the last part with the proposal hits you harder, like you watching a normal episode bustling with mundane stuff and jokes, and then the gears suddenly shift and your jaw drops ❤
The funniest thing about the St. Pauli girl is being from Hamburg and knowing that this isnt even semi close to what a St Pauli girl would look like lmao. Its the complete opposite side of germany.
“I love this episode but I hate this episode.” Yep. This and the next few episodes are great but then comes DeAngelo, Robert California, mean Andy, The Farm episode, etc. looking back- I want to say the office could have kept going as strong but maybe just not with the scripts they were given?
I got a diff view point about materials and money. I shopped for eBay a bunch of comic card sets. I also bought a bunch of nine card pages and I bought two two inch three ring binders. I filled both binders spending I don't know how much. Then sold both for only a 100 total
Ok I think I can actually answer, those ornamental orbs are supposed to be hung in certain places around the house or garden to keep away bad spirits and witches I think we have a few in my house my dad is fairly superstitious… and is a bit of a hoarder :)
This may be out there but as far as the large Christmas ornament might that possibly be a nod to Jimmy Kimmel? Maybe, maybe not. I know John and Jimmy have a lot of Christmas craziness between them
Yeah I think for as many people who say that, there’s also the flip side. It reminds me of the time that I was riding my bike, as a kid, down a steep hillside. There was a giant rock directly in the path, so I decided that I needed to divert from the path. When I checked to the right, I was scared by how many divots and thickets were there. On the left side, the hill got much closer to the river that flowed near the path. I was kind of freaking out, but then I remembered that this is RUclips and the stakes are really really low. Thanks for your feedback, guy.
I remember watching this and thinking does everyone have to be wet to propose in this show. By far one of the worst proposals in any show I've ever seen with Jim and Pam's coming in in the same token
I am God, I am the king, I am all above you, your channel is under my command, I will not answer your trivia I will not do your emoji sequences you will answer my trivia and do my emoji sequence you fool (I am god so you are a fool under me). I prepare you to acknowledge me as such and in the future 'The Office Field Guides' formally declare that. The episode is good btw
"We're moving to Colorado!"
"All of us?"
I love Kevin.

I love them making up rules to Dallas
And that… is Dallas
It's sort of like their board game Calvinball.
I believe the red Paperclip guy is the better known barterer, as he traded from something so innocuous to a house
“My bro of a daughter” I love that sentence

I ain’t gonna fight you. I agree.
I love the tour you did of the various things for sale!!! So many things I never noticed!! :)

I love it! It’s a super far fetched stretch, but I love the line of thinking.

The sniffle was crazy 😂
Okay now we NEED to know about BOTH the Mulverine proposals. Chekhov's Gun rule!!!
I’ve cried every time I’ve seen this episode

Maturing is realizing Holly and Michael are the best couple on the show.
Rhe collector in me would explode to see this much memorabilia in one place
This is going to be huge!!!
That's what she said
I think Michael asked everyone to propose to Hollie so that she would have rejected everyone except for him
That bronco would have been a the final boss prize! Too bad he didn't keep it😮
I have the same squad plushy

My most memorable episode is Erin crying with Pete
I would also stay with the Bronco
Did you end up finding an Old PC 🖥 that you can play that Office PC game with?
Still sitting on my shelf. I have high hopes to give it a spin still.
Must have found it in the warehouse

Where did you get that office theme song music playing in the background from?
Pretty sure that Bottoms Up Magazine is also in….. Arrested Development.. I wanna say?
This may be out there but as far as the large Christmas ornament might that possibly be a nod to Jimmy Kimmel?
Maybe, maybe not. I know John and Jimmy have a lot of Christmas craziness between them
Dude... a 75 bronco or Porsche for $10k? Are you bananas? You must have meant $100k right?
